The Giant Bomb Quick Look Thread 2

if you buy the game, the soundtrack is in the game folder. (ogg format)

Oh wow you are right.

Edit: There are even more songs than on Soundcloud. Too bad that a lot of the songs don#t have the artist name as a tag. Don#t know who made what.

Cabela's feels like the result of making the peripheral first and then realising that shooting people with it is too jarring for most people. I guess they've been around for ten years now without peripherals though.

Not to be crazy, but shouldn't the animals react a bit to getting shot?

Also, Hotline Miami is the fastest I've gone from watching a Quick Look to buying the game.

Ok super weird. The Track from Perturbator called Vengeance is part of the Soundcloud soundtrack but not actually part of the game. At least I don't see it in the folder.

Wait, so this Farm Simulator is going to be a Live quick look? I have a smiling man in front of a murial of a lion greeting me right now on the link...

Vinny + Farming + DRIVING WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I have no doubt golden showers originated on a farm." - Ryan

"I received a tape from Germany..." - Vinny

Days like today make me greatful i work from home.

FYI, in Hotline Miami, you can click in the middle mouse button to lock onto enemies to make the aiming easier. It makes shooting enemies around corners or as you burst through doors much easier.

They...they really don't understand how to mow grass...

*Holy crap, I take that back. I thought that would just dig up the ground and not actually work. Shame on me for doubting...

Ha, the Autobahn series use to sell like crazy in the Netherlands back in the day.

Yep, the Autobahn Raser games by Davilex were, for some crazy reason, quite successful. Even thought they were absolutely terrible driving games. Showed how a good product name could sell a game even when the game itself was bad ;)

Who in the hell is buying that Cabela's game? It seems like parody.

I remember someone saying that they used to have their release dates be on the same day as a Halo game. Never bothered to check it myself though and I can't remember who I had heard it from.

Can anybody help me figure out the name of a quick look they did some time ago? I think it was within a year ago. It was a modern military strategy game, either real-time or turn-based. I think it was Vinny and Ryan doing it, and it mostly consisted of them moving a squad around some small buildings and neutralizing enemies. I'm pretty sure it was also a downloadable game, like $15.

Sounds like Jagged Alliance: Back in Action...but I think that was Drew and someone else.

HOLY CRAP MIAMI HOTLINE IS GREAT

I'm going to have to get this game. The trial and error in most games aggravates me, but this just looks like so much fun. And that music...

Definitely picking this up.

Loved the Hotline Miami QL. Knew absolutely nothing about the game before watching it. Though I have to say, been playing it today and I'm not nearly as patient as Patrick. It's worked somehow for the most part (though a few times I kept fucking myself over, game can be brutal).
