Lol no he hasn't. It took him till this year to finally say he was in favor of gay marriage. The timing of it during an election year, to me, is highly suspect. If you want a real candidate for LGBT issues, vote 3rd party.
That's a hard point to argue. What major politician has done more for gay rights?
The fella I'm dating, for what's been 3 weeks, and I are not seeing eachother for three days, because I'm heading home and he has a business trip. We've seen eachother everyday since we've started going out.
This kinda sucks!![]()

None of the two major parties but I'm not a "lessor of two evils" kind of guy. I don't think either Obama nor Romney deserve to get in.
Dude, I don't think anyone on the NeoGAF gay thread is really going to vote Republican...
Are you crazy? American politics is so interesting, and it's the one country outside of Europe that has the most impact upon us, so we have a vested interest.Oh no American politics :/
I hope all of you who live in the U.S. and are old enough plan to vote for Obama. He's done a great deal for LGBT equality.
Please get that vote out!
Well I'm either a lesbian or bi. Not entirely sure at the moment.
I miss my blue hair. Life hasn't been the same without it.![]()

I love American politics, it's very interesting to follow as an outsider.
This is nice to read; we get so cynical ourselves it makes me feel like the rest of the world must be completely nauseated every 4 years.I love American politics, it's very interesting to follow as an outsider.
Struck me as somewhat profound.I wish my moderate Republican friends would simply be honest. They all say they’re voting for Romney because of his economic policies (tenuous and ill-formed as they are), and that they disagree with him on gay rights. Fine. Then look me in the eye, speak with a level clear voice, and say, “My taxes and take-home pay mean more than your fundamental civil rights, the sanctity of your marriage, your right to visit an ailing spouse in the hospital, your dignity as a citizen of this country, your healthcare, your right to inherit, the mental welfare and emotional well-being of your youth, and your very personhood.”
It’s like voting for George Wallace during the Civil Rights movements, and apologizing for his racism. You’re still complicit. You’re still perpetuating anti-gay legislation and cultural homophobia. You don’t get to walk away clean, because you say you “disagree” with your candidate on these issues.

Voting for Jill Stein because of the overwhelming Obama majority in my state (Massachusetts,) but I cannot stress this enough for people who live in swing states.
Get off your lazy asses and vote, GayGAF. We don't need a two-faced Mormon scumbag in the White House.
Don't forget to vote for Elizabeth Warren![]()

Just want to give everyone an update. I finished my final cycle of Chemo on October 2nd and got a CT scan this past Monday. I had one lymph node show up on my scan back in June that was slightly enlarged. I was a little concerned about it, because if it was still enlarged after the Chemo, surgery would most likely be the only option. I got the call a few days ago and found out that my scan came back completely clean!
I'll still have to get checked up a few times a year, blood tests and CT scans, but I feel like I can finally move past this and things can return to normal.
What's wrong with Warren? I mean I haven't been watching the Mass. race very closely cause i'm in the ultimate swing state (Florida) but if Warren wins, the senate is ours.
Why would anyone not like Warren?
