You putting all the pieces in one pile, or at least sorting into similar types?

That's a lot of pieces in containers. One reason I'm keeping my modulars built is that I'm not sure our storage could cope with that many pieces hitting it.

Sorting containers by piece type. All the 1x1 studs are going in one. All the 1x2 bricks in another. All the slope pieces in another, etc.

And I am keeping my modulars built. I am just prepping for the sequel to this:
Town Hall and Fire Brigade Simultaneous Build

Plan on building all four in print modulars, connected, at the same time.

Fire Brigade is the only one I have left to take apart. Might do further sorting in the containers before I start the mega build though, just to speed it up a bit. But I am out of containers, lol.

Brick separator, baby. So handy for getting all those tiles off and saving my fingers.

Brickseparator doesn't work on those studless tiles right?

The back end of the handle is flattened with a slight lip. The lip allows it to scoop under the flat tiles and pop them off.

Also has a middle stud remover for getting rid of jumper plates:

Technic axle remover:

And the ultimate dirty secret, and why everyone should own two of these things:

If you have to lay down lots of 1x1 tiles next to each other you can use the flat end of the separator to straighten them out by sliding it along the edges.

This is why I love my two orange ones. The green ones were good, but these orange ones. <3 I initially thought, "Damnit LEGO, why so cheap feeling?" Then I realized WHY it was lighter/thinner. A+

I got my first brick seperator with Battle of Helms Deep. my next sets though will be one of the Winter Village sets, not sure if any of those come with a brick seperator. Hope so because that two seperator trick looks real handy.

Also I got through bag 4 on my helms deep, this is my first multi-day build and feels good. Looking at what I have now though i'm really worried. I have no room, I really don't know where i'm going to put this when its finished. I built my Gandalf Arrives and Urak Hai army sets the other day while watching Walking Dead. I have plenty of Urak Hai's now for an army and that extension will look nice. Gandalf arrives is meh, but really you get it for Gandalf, I already have two Frodos, if I get Weathertop that will be 3. I really wish Helms Deep or Urak Hai army came with Gandalf the White and a white Shadowfax horse.

Okay, I need a little help Gaf. I am building my wanted list for Cafe Corner for the remaining missing pieces that weren't available directly from Lego PAB. I am attempting to add part 4183878 x20 and I get the following message from Bricklink. Anyone know what this means or how I can fix it?

Oops! There was a problem processing your request:

The Part you entered has been marked for deletion and cannot be added to your wanted list.

The Winter Cottage does.

Oh sweet, thats the one i've been holding off on getting till Brick Friday to get the free holiday set. I've been holding off on Holiday Bakery too hoping they have it on sale that day as well like they did with Toy Shop last year.

Lol I didn't know why I got two brick separators with the B-Wing, now I see why you need two

It made me chuckle too but I guess it also makes the bag weights the same for each wing.

I know how one old type and about 6 of the new. Personally I use the old on the bottom and the new on the top when tackling two parts heartily stuck together.

Also, I'm at work so somewhere in the bowels of our building is an Imperial Shuttle.

The old ones were better for separating two bricks, because there was more room for leverage since the technic axle wasnt there. But everything else about the orange ones are better. A lot more versatile.

The worst is trying to separate two 4x4 plates. Or bigger. God that was difficult.

For all you Minifig collectors.

i was in Target today, and they got their pre-order cards for Lego City Undercover, and the Chase McCain fig is attached to the card. Only $1 down, and no commitment to buy (they don't even take your info, you just bring the card in when you get the game if you want it).

So even if you don't want the game, it's a $1 exclusive minifig.

Any chance someone can help me get 2 of those dudes? I can give a little tip. I'm in Canada, didn't hear anything about this one being available here.

Ok so it looks like I wont be able to afford the Imperial Shuttle so my choices are R2D2, Pet Shop, Fire Brigade or Grand Emporium. Help!

Fire Brigade is the most likely to go out of stock first out of all the modulars.

Incorrect. Grand Emporium has been stated to be going OOP prior to Fire Brigade. Even though FB came out first.

Following the huge news of Disney buying Lucasfilm, i'm half expecting them to buy LEGO next.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of Disney branded Lego. I know they did Toy Story 3 the other year, not sure what previous history is like.

I'd take a little Agrabah set with a minifig Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and Abu.

There has already been Cars, PotC, Prince of Persia, Disney Princess and Little Mermaid Duplo, and soon the Lone Ranger.

Haha, Cars, of course. It's not like I don't own four or five Cars Lego/Duplo sets.

Forgot Pirates and PoP were Disney properties too. I guess I'd just like to see some older Disney stuff, maybe to coincide with their vault releases.

Swwwwwwweeeeet!! Looks like they are going to maybe have Gollum in another set then, wonder which one. Hopefully not an edge of cliff fight for the ring set with Sam, Frodo and Gollum again. Guess there really isn't much they could do with Gollum not involving Sam and Frodo only.

I've asked before. But what legit sources are there for this besides random store clerks? The same ones that have been saying Fire Brigade was gone and never coming back.

Lego customer service through some form on the lego.com website. Here is the response I received:

"I'm afraid we no longer make the Grand Emporium. The toy store shelves aren't big enough to hold everything, so sometimes we have to stop making a few of the older sets. Meanwhile, we have a team of experts in Denmark whose job it is to invent new LEGO® toys every year. They spend their time trying to create new and fun toys for children of all ages. You never know though, some of the old favorites sometimes make a comeback, so keep a look out!"

And then it refers me to sites like bricklink if I am determined to get an out of print set.

Please don't... I need money for food. If they released a set per "Disney Classic" I'd go bankrupt. I need to sire me some children so I can justify buying this stuff.
