I didn't participate on the site in 2011 since I was moving and wasn't sure what my job situation would be like (I ultimately ended up growing a mustache just the same, but not for the full month). I did formally join in 2010 though and am back in 2012. I raised $215 in 2010 and hopefully can top that this year.

At work they desperately want all the guys to participate in Movember. I'm probably going to be a pussy and not participate. I can't grow facial hair worth shit and I'm not willing to walk around with as creepy moustache (I'm one of 2 guys that is actually single in the entire office). As the rules currently stand, it'll be 20-odd days before someone thinks the above; instead I'll just get thoughts along the lines of "oh, that guy's got some weird shit around his mouth."

If I partake in Movember according to official rules, I pretty much only have a moustache for half a dozen days.

I will be growing my spindly, barely-there moustache again this year for Movember and trying to beat the $1000 I raised from the last time I did it.

One interesting difference I've noticed is in Australia the mo isn't allowed to touch the chin or sideburns because at that point it becomes a beard, whereas I see loads of Americans doing beards for Movember.
