I mean, I knew this would be the way some people react, but it still amazes me that there is no concept about which states might at least lean Romney or Obama. I mean, was anyone looking at the South and considering many of those staes Obama states? Florida and NC were the only relatively available states, and I think many of us feel NC is not going to happen.

It's like expecting Romney to win Vermont or Massachusetts or New York. Where have they been the past 20-25 years?

Votes aren't counted in a uniform fashion. Specific precincts are republican or democratic leaning to begin with.
