Apparently she doesn't mind digging through some pretty horrible stuff just to find the ones that won't get her banned from Twitter, and she enjoys laughing at the people who get upset by what she posts.

People freaked out with a single image post, two at the most. Gaffers tend to have zero tolerance for pony.

I'd love to see a single nonpony thread that ponygaf spammed with images. I'll be happy to say I'm wrong if I do, but otherwise I'm gonna keep saying what I've been saying every time I hear the claim, that it's bullshit. It happened on many boards but for as long as I can remember (and I was in on the fanbase from near the beginning on gaf) ponyGAF has been great at self-policing.

Trust me, we don't want to piss you guys off with ponies any more than you want us to annoy you with them. It's not like we're searching for conflict here.

More than a year back I think, wasn't it actually when the show first caught on? I remember that month. That was back when it really did seem like a bunch of internet nerds (no derogation there) getting excited over a new, fairly clever show, before, at least to my eye, the more obsessed and yes, socially awkward segment started emerging.

i like Sailor Moon, i also like cute things, i like the color pink. maybe some people are just hung up on this one show, but not all of us. some of us like other girly stuff as well.

People post gifs from other shows all the time as a reaction or whatever. If anyone's at fault it's the people who flip their shit over a single multicolored equine.

Wasn't the .gif situation like, somebody posts a Pony .gif as a reaction, then others posted Pony .gifs in response to that .gif?

It was kind of similar to the whole Aguirre situation, IIRC. I can't find any threads for proof on this (it's really hard and I suck at searching) so I might be wrong.

I might be misremembering, but haters would generally post pony pics in order to rile everyone up, then it gets misattributed to the wrong people.

Typically threads would get derailed with dramatic flair by a vocal minority who wanted to voice their displeasure and make sure everyone else knew it too. There was never an epidemic of that sort of thing on this forum. Other forums? Yes, pretty sure that did happen.
 
The brony haters seem to be the most annoying out of anyone since they call attention to bronies. Seems like a situation where everyone would be better off if the people with a problem would just talk to bronies directly or otherwise shut up so the rest of us don't have to be reminded about it.

I don't know why guys in their 20s being attracted to 19 year olds like Victoria Justice is "replusive" at all, let alone more repulsive than guys in their 20s being attracted to cartoon child ponies.
