Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited is only releasing 9 books this week, which is definitely the worst release schedule they have had since I started subscribing 3-4 years ago. I'm hoping they are ramping up to a re-design or something, because I'm out when my sub expires in the summer if this is the new normal. Sort of reminds me of the Virtual Console release schedule after 2008 or so.

I'm definitely hoping Age of Ultron stays mostly self contained. I sort of think the book would have been scrapped altogether when Marvel decided to go with AvX/Marvel Now this year if it wasn't a Bendis pet project. Hopefully the story is decent. I'm not sure why it had to be a crossover instead of an in-book arc like Ultron Unlimited though.

They said they're keeping the number of tie in issues lower than with AvX. I suppose doing it NOW makes it so the hype train doesn't die off after all the books have relaunched.

EDIT: So apparently a few pages have leaked along with the plot main detail. This will either be funny as hell or rage inducing for most of us. I won't spoil it since I don't know enough about it yet. I can say this will be the most talked about book this month though, easily.

Pages of Age of Ultron have leaked? Where?

ASM spoilers?

Maybe spoilers depending on your powers of recall:

I

WAS

RIGHT?

Of course, there's still #699 and #700 to get through and the odds of this being a misdirection of some sort are still pretty high. But if it's not, and this really is the direction they're heading in, then boy oh boy are there going to be some angry, ANGRY people out there. Glad I don't read Spidey comics anymore, and can just laugh from the sidelines.

You have 2 issues Slott. I have never paid to get fucked before, but it appears you will finally make that happen. From my butthole, I spit at thee.

Can someone post the spoilers here (in tags), so us incapable of searching the interwebs can join in the meltdowns?

You have to read the chapter to get the feel of it, the entire thing is like a horror movie where you know what's coming but desperately wish for it not to happen. Dumb idea, good execution. Next issue needs to be out yesterday.

Found them. That's...that's an interesting and potentially very stupid idea.

There are some things that are incongruent about it though. Worth discussing once Wednesday comes.

Not gonna click those spoilers yet, but just so I get at least some mileage out of this bet. We don't have any avatars yet and I'm not so artistically inclined to make one myself. If anyone would like to make an avatar containing the following be my guest.

Spider-Man with Dan Slott's head carrying a sloth with some heart(s) floating around. Kristen Bell appearances optional.

I would like to say something about the Amazing Spider-Man leaks that have appeared today.

PS: Could someone remind me of the sidebets I have going? Because I feel like this was covered.

You've got one with Nils about who is Spidey post-700. Avatar bet. Depending on how this plays out, odds are you lose.

Yeah can someone dig up the sidebet stuff, because I really don't remember. Other than that the cutoff date was up in the air as far as I recall. I pushed for Superior Spider-Man 1 as Slott said that's when we'd know the identity for sure, ElNarez opted for 700.

Maybe ducking out of this thread until Wednesday as I'd like to read it for myself first and spoilers are already being implied.

If anyone's fucking anyone with technicalities, I'll do the fucking thank you very much. I do believe the circumstances are in my favor. More when #698 is out.

wtf is suppsoed to happen in ASM?
It's the beginning of the storyline "Dying Wish" that ends with the landmark Amazing Spider-Man #700 series finale, and leads into the new Superior Spider-Man series with a web-slinging lead who isn't Peter Parker. Slott has been saying for months now that #698 was of major significance and that retailers didn't order enough copies, and threatening to ban followers who spoiled the issue in advance.

I'm not going to read the spoilers buttons thing Slott said about Auperior and Ultron War. Superior ties in May according to Alonso so it doesn't take place before ASM. And if there is a shift with Hitchs issues, his run doesn't end until at least June unless they triple ship April or May. Can't talk your way outta this one Slott.
