This Vita bundle is insane... (Vita, mem card, AssCreed $179.99 WOW)

I've bought stuff that costs just as much as the vita and probably weighs more from amazon.com to canada and I even got my deposit back in full for the taxes/fees that they add at the start.

No way of knowing until the sale goes live. I'm just as anxious to know as you are. I've never bought hardware from Amazon.com, but I've bought blu-rays and video games without a problem in the past from Lightning Deals.

Note that the shipping can be expensive and they pre-charge taxes/import fees beforehand, but sometimes the deals are so good that it's still a significant savings over buying in Canada.

dang! lets hope the shipping is kept to minimum. The ass creed vita bundle isn't even on sale in Canada. :(

What is your major malfunction? You keep making the same post over and over, we get it the Vita is not popular and nobody cares about it, why don't you move on to another topic?

he's doing it so that he can get a vita before you guys
think about it

I like this ending line:

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation received a 6 out of 10 from Polygon, stating "Ubisoft's desire to transcend low expectations for handheld spin-offs is clear."

If it got a 6/10 Ubisoft clearly failed their desire, lol.
You know 6 means pretty good right? Above average, worth a shot. Even a 5 would be "transcending low expectations".

Man, so tempted to pick this up myself, but..

My poor Vita is a little dinged up (battle scars), so I'm not sure I could get a decent resale value out of it.

If mine isn't in my hands, it's in this, with the lid closed. It still looks brand new. (And not because I never play it before anyone says!)

PHP Vita Hard Case by the way. It holds 8 games and two memory cards in recessed slots in the bottom too. It's a must buy as far as I'm concerned, I got mine for a tenner from Tesco.

Does the same PS+ subscription work on both platforms (PS3 & Vita)? Meaning if I buy this Vita bundle and sign up, I could also download the free PS3 stuff too?

I assume so, just wanna make sure.

Oh god, I promised myself I wouldn't get it but I just got 50 bucks outta nowhere from a friend and now it looks like 130 dollar purchase, or even a 105 dollar if I manage to sell a game today. D:

hehe I got one of those from target on clearance since I was planning on getting a vita today... decent case aside from one seriously major flaw of popping open if you drop it on the seam lol. Given I was just planning on using it to protect my vita from dust though it wasn't a big deal.

PSOne games are rad on this, right?

as long as they aren't crash bandicoot, spyro, ff5, or a select few more related they are. as far as I know there are still 13 or so ps1 games that don't work on the vita... though that might have changed with an update and I just didn't hear since sept.

So what is the average download size of Vita games. Would a 16gb card be enough, or is a 32gb really necessary?

As an owner of a PSP Go, I can tell you that it took no effort at all to fill its 16GB of space. Keep that in mind if you're planning on going fully digital.

I try and buy retail whenever possible, it would just be for PS+ titles I guess, or any of my old PSN purchases that are compatible.

I have a 16 GB card and it seems like plenty to me. Though, I buy mostly retail.

Retail games tend to range about 1 to 3 gigs.

Yea, thats what I thought to. I had alot of digital PSP games already though and i've been buying more digital Vita games because its just so tempting to have everything on the card. When you start seeing how slow it is to transfer back and forth from PS3/PC you just don't even want to mess around and have everything there.
