It is basically the bundle and price it should have been at launch. I've always said previously that when this bundle hit at this price I would bite and I did. It seems many felt like I do. If price was the same, lack of game, and memory card wasn't in the box Imwouldn't have looked twice at this. People want the Vita just not at the price they were selling it for.
yeah I am torn... play on the sexy vita screen or play on the psp with no slow down thanks to the slow down patch :/
actually I was all on board for $250... and then I found out despite their digital push they weren't going to include 16gb of on board space for games
and then I saw the prices for memory cards
and then I found out the memory cards were required for some games...
so I vowed not to get one until I could get the vita plus a 32gb card for $250... this was close enough lol

Hopefully sony will see this as a positive sign and do a price drop to the 170 territory next year.
I don't know, the Vita at 250$ is good value for the hardware you get, it's definetly not a rip off especially back at launch.
But in the current market situation and with heavy competition from tablets and smartphones it seems like people are not willing to spend more than 150$-180$ for dedicated gaming handhelds irrespective of what they get.
I don't know if that's good or not considering that other companies can get away with ridicolously overpriced stuff but the fact must be respected and acknowledged by the manufacturing companies like Sony and Nintendo.
At least if they are successful in November and December they'll get a clear indication of what they have to do next year (although they're probably preparing to relaunch anyway).

The PS3 was dead as well as I recall before it took off so I'm not overly concerned with it going away in the next month or so.

Same here; I'm hoping a similar deal comes along in the next few weeks. I'm getting one regardless come December time but all the goodies and AC3L would have been really awesome.

sony has a habit of supporting a platform for long after people think they will. I mean the psp go launched in 2009 and took until 2011 to get discontinued i remember seeing the japanese charts at like 40-100 units for it for months before the discontinuation came, so far the lowest I have seen the vita is at 4k

Damnit. Are there any cheap/fake memory cards floating around? Best Buy is selling $60 for the 16gb and 32gb for $100 which is ridiculous.

the patch as far as I know requires CFW to use with the game.
the psp version of tactics has horrible slow down on bigger spells and items. Basically think of the summon spells and imagine them in 15 frames per second instead of 30.

The 32 GB is $80 on Amazon.
I don't feel so bad paying that now since I was going to get the AC Liberation bundle at $200, and then Amazon went ahead and dropped it another $20 and also chucked in some valuable extras. And I remember paying $60+ for a 512 MB PSP memory stick not so many years ago.

When I was checking out it said something about $10 to be spent on Amazon, so I might buy a 16gb card. I also remember paying £100 for 1gb Card for my PSP but that was back in 2005.

I can't wait to see a Super Robot Wars on the Vita. I watched the HQ PVs on it just a little while ago and I think my eyes had an orgasm.

I ended up not jumping on the bundle. I think the sticking point for me was it pretty much requiring me to buy a bigger stupidly expensive memory card. I will still buy one one day as I've bought Persona 4 and some PSN games on sale with the intent of playing them on a Vita one day.

AmazonJosh confirmed that all orders at that price will get the bonuses. And as Wario pointed out, in the terms, it says that it applies to all orders of the AC bundle placed on November 23rd. The promo codes should arrive by e-mail within 3 days after your order ships.
Several pages back someone posted tweet from the amazon guy who has been in charge of the deal and said everyone who ordered today gets the goodies.
On the last post the codes come like 3 days after the item ships if I remember right.
So you bought Persona 4 for a system you don't own at full price? When by the time you have the Vita it will probably be 1/2 what you paid and could have put that towards a memory card upgrade?

I chose two day shipping for the Vita, a Sony travel case, and a 16 gig card because it was free. Only problem was it delivered on Wednesday. Just got the email saying all were shipped and all will arrive on Monday. Thank you, Amazon.
