Bama/UGA has no bearing on Florida's BCSNC chances.
Yes, I noticed that halfway through that post.

The CBS is super rare. A girlfriend paid $100 to have a bottle of it shipped to me. I don't care that much for the KBS either. Too much of an alcohol forward taste.
We can drown our FSU sorrows together.![]()
Voters will have to justify an Oregon team that won't have won their division or conference to avoid an all-SEC MNC game. That'll get lots of people rooting for ND.I doubt a 2-loss Stanford could jump any 1-loss SEC team into the MNC. Oregon maybe, but even that's a slim chance.
Our D had been decent in the red zone. Hard to go for it on 4th and 7 like that.thought it was a mistake by gundy to kick. his D was on the field for a long time at the end. i get that his QB looked shaky but he should have stayed aggressive
Like I said, it's Big 12 Champs or bust next year.good game from your guys. young team that nearly beat both OU and texas

The computers are going to love Florida even more and they'll go up in human polls for defeating FSU so convincingly.

They need Stanford to lose to get Oregon into the CCG, so that they can lose again. Oregon's ahead of UF in both the polls, and just need to gain in the computers a bit to jump them, which is quite likely to happen.
Sorry. Meant to imply that it'll be the same for both teams. Hard to justify the jump.An all-SEC game involving a team that also won't have won its division or conference. Despite all our bitching, I don't think that'll have any impact.

I wanna see an ND/Bama championship game. The ratings will be through the roof and I think it'll be closer than most here think,
The computers have loved Florida all season though. I still don't see Oregon jumping them even if they win the Pac 12.

That is a pretty good beer. I have tried some Canadian Breakfast Stout that is pretty good as well. The Kentucky Breakfast Stout isn't my favorite though.
I have some 2010 Dark Lord that I might open up to drown my minimal sorrow .
What? Florida needs ND to lose. That is all. Oregon and Stanford are not going to hop Florida.
Notre Dame is the deity I will be praying to this evening.
That is just all kinds of wrong.
I like the tone of this conversation. If you get a chance, ODell Mountain Standard Double Black IPA is quite good. 9.5% too, packs a kick.
I dig Founders' brews. Their Centennial IPA is super fresh hop tasting.
I've been sucking down New Belgian Ranger IPA, Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Wild, and some homebrew Bell's Two Hearted clones to try to not get too emotionally invested in the damn Badger loss again. It's not working.
Notre Dame is the greatest team ever to play the game, praise be to Brian Kelly.
UF lifelong? Human polls don't work that way, and there's no room to move up in the computers. Unless ND's skid stops above Oregon, which seems unlikely.
That's true.Seems like every time I've ever watched Mizzou play they are en route to loosing by 30
true i just thought they looked worn out by the last regulation drive. lots of exhausted guys on the bell TD
Human poll strength. Florida is iffy if Oregon becomes #2 unanimously or close to it. There's also that 'SEC vs. SEC' thing that voters may come into play.
Funny if it comes down to Oregon and Florida though and neither win their conference title.

Florida will be #1 in the computers if ND loses and there's no guarantee Oregon will get anywhere near as much leverage through the human polls as you're assuming.
I have four cases of Breakfest Stout, and four of Terrapin Wake & Bake to last me through the spring and summer when i can't get either of them.![]()
I don't know how much a win over UCLA helps Oregon at this point if ND loses.
They're kind of ceiling'd out computer-wise although I guess it could put them ahead of Notre Dame in certain computers.
Pretty sure Oregon would pass a 2-loss Georgia/Alabama and the Ducks are not passing Florida in the computers.
At best, either way - Oregon finishes #3 in the computers.

See above.
I thought Stanford was supposed to play ucla today. Why are they playing Cal again?
Obligitory Go USC! I'll post my victory brew choice when we get home. Spoiler: Swamp Head Midnight Oil brewed right in Gainesville.
