Could anybody get a kirby for the wii? but sealed? would like this for my collection :)

FYI the Kirby's Epic Yarn they sold me was unsealed, as was the Darkness 2 (which was the LE if it matters to anyone - free digital copy of the comics). It was also the last one they had in stock, sorry :(

Morrisons have an absolutely horrible system of storing their game stock which normally means a 5-10 minute wait while the staff fumble with keys and root around in a drawer stuffed with random shit. It's surprising they even know what they've got in stock at all.

Shame there isn't a convenient Morrisons around here otherwise I'd have picked up Kirby.

Guessing there are no last minute WiiU bargains.

You mean they are all like that!?

Damm, I just assumed that my one was completely incompetent.

If you buy a game from a supermarket. It's 100% likely to be unsealed. Most of them use that slightly awkward system, but there's not really a better alternative unless you want to wait EVEN LONGER for them to get the game out their warehouse lock up. Sadly people will still nick games even if you stick them in security boxes :/

UK stores could do the US way where everything is locked in huge glass cabinets, but IMO I hate that method. Means you can't look at back cover blurb and details without calling some member of staff over (and that's a wait in itself before you even decide to buy the darn thing)

I don't mind the wait while they fumble around but a couple of the games I bought in Morrisons at the weekend were in pretty shoddy condition. The first Lollipop Chainsaw disc they gave me looked like had been used to sand down metal work.

Most of the good stuff had probably been cleared out but I managed to nab Lollipop Chainsaw (£10), Azura's Wrath (£10) and a couple of 98p PC games (Dirt 3 and Rage), so not too bad.

Morrison's I go to barely has games, and if they do they don't have price tags on a lot of them!

I'll try another one close by to see if it's better.

I'm still holding out too, I actually own the normal edition, but will upgrade if it hits around £15. If the trend continues, that won't take long!

If you manage to sell your normal edition for about the same price or want to keep both go on, but the limited edition is lame. Only a poor artbook and a metal case.

You can use the Classic Controller too, right?

Yes, but since the game makes use of the pointer I find the Wiimote+Nunchuk combination way more comfortable.

So the only semi decent special edition of the three was The Last Story's. No idea why I got it. Still haven't played it yet.

no the coins went within 2 weeks of that offer.. i managed to get One set.. had a friend who got 5... -_-

they look amazing though :)
Oh well. Was worth a shot. Wasn't that bothered since I didn't want to buy a game just for coins back when the offer was revealed.

I just meandered into my local Currys and snagged Ocarina of Time for £9.91, worth a go if there are any near you as they're shutting down.

Don't you mean Comet? Or are Currys shutting down as well? I know Comet have now got a 50% OFF EVERYTHING MUST GO (except tvs or laptops) sale at the moment.

Don't most Comet's have their video game section run through GAME though? I wouldn't expect them to discount much - just to redirect the stock to other stores

Went to my local Comet, they didn't have anything gaming related, half the store was already taped off, also dropped by the Curry's next door, and the 10 games they have are all overpriced.

Ah sorry, it's Comet that's shutting by the looks of it. Always got them mixed up.

Definitely Currys. I wish I'd gone into Comet now, they're almost next door.

They did have a lot of stuff at normal high street prices but there were a number of games which just had a coloured sticker rather than price sticker on them and a wee laminated colour/price guide in the games section. Maybe there's a set amount of stock they're letting go at this price for whatever reason, I actually popped in for Street Fighter IV which is supposed to be £4.71 (it is on the site) but my branch didn't have any.

Bit late to cancel now! :| Hope its good otherwise it's going on ebay or something because i haven't been excited by the reviews

played it a bit in GAME store earlier.. not TOO bad.. for 200 idd keep if i was you but thats enitirely up to you. Or ill take it off your hands lol

Anybody have any insights into why Amazon slowly creep down some of their prices?

I can't say I've seen much of that on other sites, mostly it's look this game is 20% off for a few days, not chipping away at the price of some items by a few pound/pence.

Price match wars I guess
