THQ Humble Bundle is up (THQ needs your money lol)

This should be about people getting to play good/great games for only a few bucks. Not about the purity of the Humble Indie Bundle. If HIB wants to make a similar bundle with EA, why not. I'll just give more money to charity then. As long as they keep making bundles with indie games, it's a win-win for everyone. Unless it's more about principles than having fun.

Ugh Humble Bundle why you gotta do this to me. But how can I pass up Metro, Darksiders, and Saints Row for $6?

Though it sort of feels like putting the coins on THQ's dead eyes.

Fuck all the negativity. I really don't see what the problem with this could be other than to the neckbeard indie elitists.

I own all the games, but I'll definitely be throwing a little cash at THQ

OK bought!

Downloading Saint's Row now... it's slow for some reason, but I don't care :P can't wait to play it!

Check your history and go to the last page of Humble Bundle after the payment, there should be a link that goes to the keys.

Thanks, that helped even though it was on my Nexus 7 and I closed the tab. Revisiting the URL and re-checking with PayPal brought me to the key page. Thanks!

This is just sad :( I own all the games, but I'm tempted to just buy several bundles anyway, damn. Also, now I feel like I need to buy CoH2 at full price. Poor THQ. :(

BECAUSE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE TO DEVELOPERS AND WAAHHH IT AIN'T COOL ANYMORE.

Personally noting any indies complaining about it and not buying any of their games.
They probably wont release anything good anyway. The problem with a lot of indie devs is that they're arrogant as hell and make the game that they want to play.

I have no issue with supporting good games. Indie or not I don't really care.

Yeah, I don't get it. THQ literally is a sinking ship and I'm pretty sure the money isn't going anywhere except to pay off debts at this point. If it were just any other publisher doing it then Humble Bundle wouldn't even agree to it at this point.

So damn bought, for a bit above average!

I've been interested in SR3 and Darksiders for quite some time, so this was a perfect opportunity to get them! The others I'm not super interested in, but I'll take them as a bonus (that I'll probably never play).

How is this an "indie" bundle, though? THQ is "indie" now? Do you automatically become "indie" when you have no money?

It's called the Humble THQ Bundle. Not the Humble Indie Bundle.

I don't even have a Windows PC at the moment, and I jumped in well above the asking price. Too good to not give-in and support. Even if it takes another five years to get a gaming PC, I don't think I'll regret doing this.

Wonder if the indies would be up in arms over a Humble Paradox bundle? Where do we draw the line? If they're not on the NASDAQ they're cool?

Wasn't Bastion published by Warner Bros?

I own all of these except for Red Faction Armageddon. I may toss THQ a few bucks. Their PC support has improved over the years but I guess simply dropping GFWL goes a long long way.

Call the Coast Guard.

If you want the games, you pay for the games. If you want to give to charity, give to charity. If you want the games and give to charity you give money to both. But to want the games and value it as $0 would be an insult imo. If you just wanted to give to charity, there's nothing stopping you from giving them money directly instead of having to use humblebundle to do it.

There's nothing stopping Humble Inc. from enforcing your vision. They don't, so people are free to allocate their money between charity, the developers, and the Humble site as they see fit. It should give you comfort to know that the vast majority of people do not tweak the sliders at all.

Anyone else having issues with Amazon Payments? I get taken to a Contact page for Humble Bundle once I hit the pay button, but didn't get confirmation of payment or anything.

Edit: Ended up doing it with Paypal. Will check my CC statement later just in case.

Poor THQ... I feel bad.

WTF, Google Wallet, stop being unavailable right now!

EDIT: Oh, was because I wasn't actually signed into Google Wallet (but I was signed into my Google account). All is well!
