I'm not finding a source linking him to breaking MD to the B10. Twitter timeline shows nothing around that time. Link me.

Let's say Big More Than Ten reaches down and gets Georgia Tech. That puts them in Atlanta. You know who has a lot of electoral college votes? Why stop in Atlanta when you can go to Tallahassee. Implausible?

I just wonder when these conferences will start doing some addition alongside subtraction. What value does Nebraska add? Iowa? That's flyover country. Subtract those two, get two more big markets. Hmm, don't really need Purdue, do we? Northwestern? Indiana and Illinois seem to cover that real estate. See you guys later. Hey Syracuse, come on in. Not to be outdone, SEC decides they really don't need two teams in Mississippi, do they? Mississippi State, nice knowing you. Hey NC State, where you is?

How bad will it be if I got dust in my eye
cried like a baby
when we're left out of the BCS conferences? Everything we hope to do football wise will be ruined.

Kent State trying to make this close... but its honestly too little, too late. They'd need a big stop here to keep NIU from running out the clock.

EDIT: That's a big stop.

it's one thing if the fans care. good for them and hope they enjoy their big shot. but how many kent state fans will be at the orange. 80? 110?

It's not very easy to kick out a team. I don't even think the SEC can vote to expel charter members like the Mississippi schools.

Lonestar, after watching Stanford's band, I can definitively state that Furd has the hipsters.

SEC is probably going to pick their 2 next.

Here's what's going to happen

Big12: We really don't want to expand, but if we absolutely have too....I guess we'll take FSU and Clemson

SEC: Actually, we were going to take those so......

Yeah, I really don't know. But if this is about money, and it is, there are schools that really don't provide any. Small private schools in well covered markets, schools in small states. If this pattern plays out, these schools are bound to find themselves shuffled out.
