I recieved it today in the UK, thought it wouldn't arrive because my mate ordered a US import of some game after I ordered Hitman and it came a few days before it.

Never knew Hitman came with a free 3 month PS+ trial, can that stack onto an already active subscription?

It worked earlier today. I guess they turned it off :( I had no time to post it earlier, was at work.

Using that code, it was possible to get Lethal Weapon 1-4 on BluRay for 11pounds. Not only does the code not work anymore but the price for LW is now at 14pounds.
 
Cheapest place for Spec Ops: The Line?

Cheapest I found was on zavvi for 18 pounds, if anyone has a spare 10% code or a better deal, would appreciate it!


Edit: Forgot to mention the platform, PS3.

Which platform? It was £3.50 or so on gamefly last week for the PC version, if you don't mind a digital copy.
 
I'd buy Halo 4 for £8.99.

Then I'd leave it sealed on my shelf for six months.

Then I'd trade it in for something else while calling myself a moron.

I'm still waiting for my copy too. I live in mainland Europe though so it's okay that it hasn't arrived yet, even though it was estimated to arrive yesterday.
 
Well Zavvi have finally pissed me off after 3 maybe 4 years of using them.

So I decided to pre-order my Wii U games with them due to discounts and what not.

Not worth it. They supposedly despatched on Wednesday my copies of Mario and CoD. Thought they'd turn up today. Nope. Not a sniff.

Shame really. I got my preorders in the past on the day. Xenoblade, SotC, FM12.

Should have given my money to Amazon.

Zavvi have also been known to allow customer's details to get used by their 'carefully selected partners' and serial scammers Rewards First, who will brazenly take £15 out of your bank account every month without permission (and without you signing up for anything) until you notice, then refuse to refund any of it until you involve the OFT (who are already investigating these crooks) and threaten them with court action.

I'm speaking from personal experience here, and that's why I won't even click on Zavvi's website any more.

Well they may not use that exact wording but it's definitely a thing - supermarkets here in the UK do discount new-release games, both to get people coming in through their doors who maybe wouldn't normally, and to capture impulse buys from people who are already in the store, I think.
 
Just out of curiosity can anyone recommend any UK or EU based online stores that sell Japanese import games? It'd be nice if there was somewhere I could get those from without having to worry about the UPS man turning up on the doorstep demanding 20 quid before handing my parcel over.

You can't really blame Zavvi. Their job is to send you the games in time, it's the post offices job to get them to you, something Zavvi can't really affect, at all.

Of course you have the free p&p fees to consider, so you can't expect to get the fastest delivery times with them.

It seems the version on PSN+ will not be the GOTY version (correct me, if I am wrong). So if you want to get all the DLC, go for it. In any case, PSN+ is a rental, this here is an actual buy.

Same here. I think I'll play it on PS+ and if I'm not done with it at the end, I'll consider buying it (and the price will probably only fall from here).

Zavvi logic being odd is blameable though XD, I ordered Nintendo Land with My ZombiU Wii U premium set, and instead of putting it in the box together, they ship it seperatly XD, and now I play the waiting games.

And yeah the post office, delivery experience kinda went sour, when they enforced 2nd class delivery to be 3-5 days, when it used be as fast as 1st class =/

Usual 12 month sub is £39.99, if you bought 4 at this price that would give you 12 months for £32, PS+ is well worth it as someone that doesn't always have money to spend on games it gives me the ability to continue playing games.

BTW the offer runs out tonight at midnight
