by the neuro-typical audience, yeah

Neurotypical

A term popularly used by people who have been diagnosed or believe to fit the criterias for Asperger's Syndrom or Autism. The term refers to societ's ideal that some people are considered "normal" and some people are not.

Do you even know what you're trying to say?

I don't think he's bad. I just don't think he did anything more than give a serviceable performance (Hardy was honestly more impressive) for a villain who himself was adequate, but not amazing.

I like Hardy, he's a good actor, I just didn't find anything that special in his character. I feel that was Nolan's fault. In my eyes he wrote a weaker character than in his other movies and the LOS stuff was handled poorly.

uhh dont know what to tell you

but to put bane above ra's is really something

cant wait for that interview years and years into the future where nolan apologizes for tdkr

Based on the rogues gallery in Nolan's films, I'm guessing that the next Batman film goes for either Mr. Freeze or Penguin (if they go back to a more fantastical Schumacher style) or Riddler (if they keep things in line tonally with Nolan).

I think the Bane we see in the first half of Rises is my fav villain. Plane hijack scene, Batman fight, stock exchange visit, Daggett scene. Really good stuff, incredible even. Then the character just goes overboard with the speeches.

The will is everything! The will to quote.

I wasn't always here in the OT. Once I had another forum, my great love. It was... taken from me. Like you, I was forced to learn that there are those without decency that must be fought trolled hesitation, without pity. Your GIFs give you great power, but if you let them, they will destroy you, as they almost did me.

Villains in the Nolan films:

Rhas > Joker > Scarecrow > Two-Face > Falcone > Bane > Maroni > Zsasz > Talia

- Cops vs Thugs/mercenaries. Brawling in the Steet. Batman fighting out in the open, during the day, in front of everyone. This was right out of an Adam West movie. Just needed a "KAPOOW!" or two.

agreed with all your negatives, but that one was what stuck out most after watching. The cops just rush down the street despite having guns that they never shoot.

Still liked the movie though after watching it last night.

Out of curiousity/boredom, I decided to assemble such a list to see what I'd actually put on it.....movies are in chronological order and start with the first blockbuster, Jaws.

Jaws (1975)
Alien (1979)
The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981)
E.T. (1982)
Ghostbusters (1984)
Back To The Future (1985)
Aliens (1986)
Robocop (1987)
Die Hard (1988)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
The Rock (1996) for serious!
The Matrix (1999)
The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001)
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Batman Begins (2005)
Casino Royale (2006)

Okay, I guess that's 17....
I would add the first Pirates to that. Although it is a bit long and the sequels are crap.

I don't remember, did they actually have guns? I would have thought Bane would have taken all the underground cops' weapons.

I don't think he had access to them. Didn't he just lock them down there and leave them? Don't remember him going down and interacting with them.

I don't even know.

You've been in the Bat-GAF echo chamber for far too long. Let me help you.

Joker > Bane > Two-Face > Ra's > Da Mob > Scarecrow > My Dogs! Are! HUNGRY! > Talia >> Rhas

Should be way higher I feel. WAAAYYYYY higher. And where is "I'm good at calculations"?

I felt the trilogy was full of fantastic villains. I still felt like Bane was cheapened after the Talia reveal. He's a pretty damn great character otherwise.

My dogs are hungry > good at calculation > it who played spawn

Rhas is Liam Neeson in BB as I've spelt it since 2005, and I'll be damned if I'll ever switch to the "correct" spelling.
