Hitman was reduced within a week! But yes, RE6, F1 2012, Borderlands 2 X-Com, Dishonoured dropped very quickly and Halo 4 has recently as well...

Speaking of Zavvi, what happened to their search? It's as if a load of games went missing and don't appear now. Example - search Tomb Raider. No regular edition appears anymore. Same applies for Bioshock Infinite.

It seems they de-list products once they are sold out now...I spoke with a rep who said they de-listed the above games because of pre-orders. Which is weird because Zavvi love taking orders for things they don't have in stock...lol

In regards to importing, PS3 is region free so you should be able to play the game.

It'll work just fine, but word of warning - if you ever want to Transfar with the Vita version, it won't work unless both copies of the game are from the same region.
