resident evil 6 is also twenty pounds in asda. if anyone wants it at that price but doesn't want to order from shopto.
 
Lost In Shadow / A Shadow's Tale (Wii) - for 11EUR from amazon.de

I'm not sure, if this version is multilingual. If it is, that would be a great deal. Lost In Shadow / Shadow's Tale is sold out anywhere else and/or extremly expensive (amazon.co.uk has it for 25pounds). I already own the game though.

EDIT: it seems even the Japanese version is multilingual. So I assume that this is as well. No confirmation though.

damn, i'd jump on that but the usual site to check is giving German as the only language? There's a note at the bottom of the page that says something about "Multilingualität" that i can't get a decent translation of though http://ogdb.eu/index.php?section=game&gameid=38542

I already checked on OGDB. It says multilingual isn't confirmed/not tested.

EDIT: It seems at least Shadow's Tale (UK version) is multilingual (includes German language as well). So I guess the German one should be multilingual as well.
EDIT2: Just got the confirmation of a friend. He owns the German version and it is indeed multilingual. The game uses the Wii language setting and selects accordingly. "Shadow's Tale" is even written on the German disc itself. Manual is German of course.
 
So tempted to spend the £50 to get a £5 off, then you look at T&C's and you realise how over complicated they have made it along with such silly restrictions

Probably not the best you can do, but AC3:L, Fifa 13 and Need for Speed £230

Considering AC3:L cheapest price is £30, Fifa £25 and Need for Speed £20~ its a decent deal.

If you get PS+ for 3 months or whatever you also get Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush and a couple of other games.

I'm still on the fence - I'm looking at future releases and stuff like that and basing my decision on current titles etc - have you got a a decent vita thread I can chat in? I don't want to bog this thread down with "should I, shouldn't I?" posts.
 
Just bought Ridge Racer Unbounded fro PC at shopto for 4.85£

Don't know if it's kosher to link to the deal as shopto is still banned.

Vita games and services OT2! ask about games in there. For some reason console mega threads were banned so we've split them up into smaller threads. There's a hardware one kicking around somewhere too

I've always been told that bundles are a set price and that we can only get the discount on a non bundle stuff. Dunno if that's changed though as we were Gamestation till a month or so back.

Edit: hmh, 23€ for the uggonPlatinum edition on amazon.de, is it playable in English? Then again, the German version of scatta grenade wasn't half bad, either.

How much mileage you get out of Epic Mickey 2 really depends on a few factors

1) Do you REALLY like Disney and Disney history?

2) Do you like N64 era platforming collect them up's (particularly of the "Rare" variety) ?

If the answer to both of those is yes then you'll enjoy Epic Mickey 2, the PS3 Demo is a pretty decent taster of what to expect generally. If you have a Wii, I would suggest putting money down for the original and seeing how that goes (you can get it for a tenner right now) - and maybe considering getting the Wii version instead as it's cheaper than the HD ports (it's going for 19.99 in Zavvi's Mega Monday) - or even holding out another month or two, as I'm sure the HD ports will drop their prices further.
 
Thanks everyone, downloading the demo now and secretly hoping it puts me off the full game, also hope the framerate is better than the video of the WiiU version i saw on giant bomb.

I played the demo of Epic Mickey 2 on Xbox 360 and from what I played it was a bit worse than the first game, however I believe the X360 and PS3 versions are done by another studio, right? I'd probably get the Wii version for 10-15 pounds. It wouldn't make sense if it was worse than the first game, especially since it's the same team, same build and all. I just hate forced co-op when playing alone. Stupid AI following you around doing nothing useful and keep repeating some stupid line. Forced co-op is never a good thing.

15pounds is probably the lowest it will ever go (console version). And I would say that's totally fine. Just played through it including all DLCs. zavvi store on play.com has it for that price.

On PS3 it was quite a nightmare. I mean it could be worse
Skyrim
, but I had slideshow every few hours, had to restart the game, hold the secret button combination to reset the cache, then it went normal again etc. Switched off auto save right at the start, had quite a lot hard-lockups. But that's all PS3, it seems on 360/PC it isn't that bad. The DLC was way better, had only 1 lockup and no slideshow at all during all the DLC.

So, now I am confused. Someone ordered the Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY (360) at Zavvi or TheHut recently? Is there on the cover "classics" on the top or just on the disc?

Looking at HUKD, the money grabbing chavs are going to be all over this one, selling it to CEX for a small profit. Makes me real mad considering it's the people who actually want the game for themselves (or as a present) are the ones who lose out. I hope it backfires on them.
