Regulus = nincompoop

I've been holding on watching the OVAs until after this run ends, so that's where the mistake came from.
I havent seen either. I wondering should I just wait to this series finishes before jumping into the OVA's.
Well, the OVA's are Startdust Crusaders a.k.a Part Three so it makes no sense to watch them now, you should wait till Battle Tendency comes a close.

Joseph is even better than I remembered

Hearing Joseph use Sugita's exact-same Gintama voice is kind of weird, especially because the beginning of this episode is more or less the introduction of Gintama (Gintoki/Joseph stick up for the little guy being abused by the police), but still awesome.

It's kind of weird seeing Part 1 and 2 characters in a moderately consistent colour scheme instead of Araki's usual nonsense when he does covers and promotional art and such.

I will admit since it has been a while since I read Battle Tendency I thought I may have remembered Joseph as being more awesome than he actually is, after watching this ep I am glad to see I was not mistaken one bit he still is the best shounen protagonist.

<3 Joseph.

What a great episode. I had high hopes and they were really surpassed. I hope the rest of Battle Tendency goes just as well as it's my favorite in the series. Joseph is such a boss; definitely the best JoJo.

Episode 10 was incredible. Phantom Blood was great, but this is on a whole other level. Joseph is a much more unpredictable protagonist than Jonathan was, which makes him much more fun to watch. And the American setting is even more playful and exaggerated than England was.

This is really something special.

I expected greatness from part 2, but the actual episode exceeded my expectations. I think I'm going to watch it for the third time now.

Already starting off significantly better than first part.Joseph Joestar is really good character design and his personality and lines are all so good. Can easily always expect the unexpected from him I think and perfect voice.
when he pulled out that gun in the end there, mindblown
. I hope we get no time skip or nothing or else he may be ruined. Still the main flaw of the characters is still everyone so bulky.

That was so surprising when Straits killed everyone down there. I didnt think he would be the enemy here, I mean where in the world is Dio at now?! I thought he would survive through the ages but Straits turning back and wanting to emulate him, oh dear.

lololol at the end. wat.

I don't like the proportions of the characters either, it looks weird, it actually makes the animation look cheap(and maybe it is, lulz).

I'm so tempted to start watching. A few weeks ago I decided to read the manga I just started part 3...

That ending theme makes me want to watch it so bad.

Major spoiler-answer to your question:

Dio returns in part III, when the main character is Joseph's grandson, Jotaro. Both JoJos are involved. Part II is more about the origins of the stone masks and their original users.

Anime Status: Saved

It's a shame most people are overlooking this for crap like SAO.

Son you just mad jelly you'll never have a faithful real life waifu as Asuna.
...and I have yet to watch SAO, shut up I'll watch it eventually and I don't care what you think about it.

The wait for the new intro is gonna be painful *Sets SO NO CHI NO SADAME to repeat*

Did you have a problem with the characters in part 1 too? In the restaurant Joseph without his coat actually looked like a buff sized normal human, especially compared to Johnathan who was literally rippling with muscles no matter what he was wearing.

Yeah I did, I never really liked Joseph's character design once he fully grew up. He just looked abnormal, as if his body was filled with tumors. :lol
