Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

That's my main worry with getting it now, that I might end up buying a dud version in comparison.

Really need a sports game on the Vita though and ideally not bloody FIFA.
Then get VT4? it looks and runs amazingly well.

COMPLETELY RANDOM VITA recommendation.

RO is a perfectly fine game, but it's a little stale if you're playing by yourself. The RO GAF thread is kinda dead but there'd probably be a couple of people who'd still be interested, myself included.

Picked up RO recently but haven't had time to start it yet. Might hit you up sometime this week/weekend if I get a chance (and if you don't mind). My PSN ID is Amishpriest.

SotN finally comes out and it isn't on Vita, god dammit after all this time I still can't play it how I want. Spyro trilogy is something though, took their time.

Still ok to download on PS3 and transfer it across though, right?

Anyone know if we can do this?

As much as I love my Vita .. I really need to get some Crash Bandicoot on this thing. I guess it's not compatible in NA yet .. right?

I completely forgot I had that. I'll redefine and say I meant team sports.

My hopes of ever getting a hockey game are about as likely as seeing the current NHL season.

Madden is supposed to be good since they apparently patched out a lot of the pre-snap and after-play slowdown. I was impressed with the demo despite the slowdown it had.

JSR tutorial doesn't make sense. "Freestyle without bumping into anything." I've been doing just that and can't advance at all.

I've played Future before on the Xbox, but figured I could just get an easy Trophy this way.

Still can't beat this Big Sky Infinity tutorial. I feel like such a retard. >.<

Sure thing, I'll send you a request now.

It's a bad tutorial, but for that segment you simply need to skate around the bottom road for a minute or so.

Game : "Tap R to activate the drill!"
Me : "Ok."
Game : "Good!" - PRESS X TO ACTIVATE DRILL
Me : "Ok."
Game : "You were doing really well until you blew up."
Me : "But.. I was pressing X."

R and X does the same thing, so you turned off the drill when you pressed X.

That game has the worst tutorial I've ever seen. Besides some of them not making sense like you said (plus there's one later on where you have to do a turnaround while dashing...except it doesn't work since you have to hold forward to dash) that thing's treated more like a freakin challenge mode than a tutorial.

Picked it up over Black Friday for cheap...last I played it was still a bit of a mess in that regard. Still having fun with it though, and have high hopes for 14.

Truth. I spent like an hour and a half the other night trying to get the 30 tricks. 50? Fuck that shit!

I eventually got it after a few hundred attempts. I could probably run that course in my sleep now.

Honestly, the main game is seeming easier at this point. I don't have a problem with the controls like some are (especially after playing most Tony Hawk games, Agressive Inline, and Matt Hoffman and Dave Mirra games), but it just seems so dated in terms of gameplay. It's not like this game is from twenty years ago, it came out in the late 90's!

Yep, JSR has the worst tutorial ever. And a terrible game too imo. Really nice gfx and soundtrack, but the controls are awful.

WAT. It's so easy to do 100+ trick combo in the first level. Look at a video if you have to but you can link everything together incredibly easy. That's not a short coming of the game.

Thanks, I finally got it. But, now wall grinds feel broken. Jumping at a wall diagonally like the game tells me to do does nothing!

Then you're doing it wrong, you might be waiting too long to jump on it, that's usually when it's a short awkward grind since you waited too long.

Then how do I time it correctly? I can see why they gave this out for free on PS+.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it.
