Really torn between Ragnarok Odyssey or Persona 4 Golden as my next game. I was going to pick up P4G a few days ago but gameplay videos looked a little meh and there seems to be too much emphasis on the plot. Having a good story is welcome but if I'm going to be reading thousands of lines of text, the gameplay bits better be top notch. Really the only thing making me consider P4G at all is it being the highest rated game on Vita.

P4G is one of the best games I have played in years - and I don't say that lightly - but if you are not up to reading much, it is not a game for you. Half of the game is something like a VN. Which to most people is great because you get believable, fleshed out characters in a mammoth JRPG.*

RO is a perfectly fine game, but it's a little stale if you're playing by yourself. The RO GAF thread is kinda dead but there'd probably be a couple of people who'd still be interested, myself included.

Are you able to put six colours alongside each other that you can distinguish, and give us the HEX codes for those colours?

We *may* be able to do an update...

Personally I just think you should let colour blind folk rot, it's their choice at the end

No idea on that one sorry, but I'd recommend importing the game from the US - the PAL version only has Japanese voices, whilst the US has both English and Japanese (licencing issues )

The English voices are actually pretty damn good!

Can I also say that if you DO manage to do this, it should be thread worthy. A developer releasing a patch to a game because one guy mentions he has colour vision issues is incredible.

George Lucas won't do anything good for the fans and MILLIONS of them have asked lol.

I can't speak for Germany and Italy, but it's pretty common for Australian releases to be shortly after the UK/EU releases of game. Our usual release date is on a Thursday, so we'd either have to get the game (and shipments ready) a day before Europe, or a week or two after, the latter is usually how it goes unless it's a release from a big publisher.

Wouldn't mind importing but for some reason VGP has pretty high shipping fees these days and the UK price + shipping is less than the US copy of VLR alone.

I think the install size was a little under 1GB (I want to say 973MB, but remembering that is sadder than I would like to admit).

Buffing just means using supporting skills like Rakukaja, which increases defense for 3 turns. There are others like increasing Attack, Hit/Evasion, Critical Rate, etc. Have a look at the different Personas you have and remember which ones have the supporting skills you think would be useful. I'm pretty sure Izanagi, the first Persona for your main character, has a good set of starter buffs/supporting skills.

Debuffing means taking away from the enemy, so skills like Tarunda and Rakunda that reduce the enemy's defense and attack.

Makes life a lot easier when you get to control how effective you/the enemy are.

If your PS3 gets good download speeds and your Vita doesn't it's likely due to wifi signal - try moving closer to the router if you can.

Also to the person asking about PSASBR who had connection issues in the beta - I never had any and don't have any issues now but for people who did have issues in the beta - I read a lot of posts that they are still there for them now.. Likely due to some sort of router issues (open ports or set up a DMZ to the vita!) /living on a desert island

- they have vita bundles and games with decent shelf space here in Dubai!
