Persona 4 Golden (Best JRPG of the PS2..must buy)

Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure for people who want a 3D Zelda experience(and Zelda fans too), get it from the PSP section for $15, It''s amazing action RPG, with cute characters and very interesting story, beautiful and big challenging dungeons, funny dialogues,3D platforming, neat combat system (and mapping the camera to the right stick instead or L/R make it even better).

and it look very good on Vita's Screen.

Guys!
Nisa got back to meeeeeeeeeeeee.

Hello,

The Cladun2 and ZHP sale actually starts on the 12/18 which is also when
Disgaea and Prinny sales end. So, please wait a little bit longer till the
18th.

Please let us know if you have any further questions :)

Thank you,
Sincerely,
NIS America, Inc.

I still dont think it was unreasonable to be annoyed, though. They announced that the sales would END on 18.12. before and didnt put up any new sales for the current week. Seems a bit like they simply fucked up the last week and will now extend the sale by a week to make up for it. Ah well, fine by me. (IF it works out this time ...)

Playing Mutant Blobs Attack for the first time. It's surprisingly fun. I like the handling and the concept.

Thing is as much as I think the game is entertaining, it's not something I think I would have bought if I didn't get it via PS+. These type of games might be useful, but it feels like the type of thing I could get on Smartphones.

I'm more looking for something a bit more meaty. In the vein of P4G, GR, U:GA, VLR, AC:L and more RPG's

And MotorStorm!

;p

Its waaaay more satisfying to use buttons for a platformer though. That alone makes it better than most games on iOS, especially since that also usually means a restricted set of movement possibilities (buttons for: jumping, magnetizing, unmagnetizing).

is the Vita version a port from the Xbox1 version?

Considering they rebuilt the games for the HD releases and worked on quite a few bugs that their initial "direct ports" were cluttered with, I guess its safe to say that its a downsized HD port.

Plenty of worthwhile PS1 games on the store. Longer battery usage time as well.

Can you suggest something with limited necessary text reading, I get motion sickness reading in cars :(.

I am now suddenly nostalgic for the countless hours I poured into tales of eternia/tales of destiny 2 on the Ps1. I wonder if that's up on the store, I couldn't play it in the car but I'd love to go through it again.

Likely that they screwed up, but nice to see that it'll still happen. I might buy Prinny in the meantime.

I was thinking of things with campaigns :P

Racers are different. They are games that I'll play anywhere, but weirdly I never look forward to them. I'd buy GT Vita day one, but until it comes out, I won't give it another thought.

And I agree. Buttons do make it better. But I'm not usually a fan of platformers. I hate touchscreen stuff. I never play games on my phone. I don't even have any installed and never have.

I'm not saying MBA is on the same level as IOS stuff. It's just like I find it hard to play anything without a campaign (including as story), and by simply looking at MBA, it seems like the kind of thing I could play on my phone, even if it might not control as well

Aww.. I was always looking forward to your challenges.. and then hated you when I saw your times, lol.
J/K, I know what you mean ;) Only racing game I ever looked forward to was GT5

Not every texture is super high res in the up-port. There are textures like that often in the PS3 version. It still looks great while playing.

Yup, VanWinkle is right on this one. However, officially releasing a screenshot that is 33% UGLY texture is still one of the most discombobulating (learned that word last week!) PR decisions I've seen in a while.

Well THEY didn't release it. They just retweeted somebody who has the review copy and happened to attach a picture to their tweet.

They definitely NEED to release some screenshots though!

Ah okay, misunderstood that.

Tomba?
Crash Bandicoot? (Does that now finally work on Vita?)
Wild Arms 2 doesnt require too much reading once you are done with the intro areas since its mostly classic dungeon romping with long dungeons.
Shadow of the Night is a good suggestion as well.

You mean Motorstorm challenges? I don't have access to my PS3 as often at the moment, but I'll respond to them eventually!

Awesome, thanks for the update. Now I know to keep enough in my wallet for ZHP!

Havent actually "challenged" you ingame, because you said you felt like you were finished with the first world :/ Feel free to challenge me though once you've inevitably beaten another score of mine.

Wow thanks for the heads up need to check this out.

Monument Valley will be hard to beat since I thought that there was only very small amounts of time I could still shave off. Except this one level with all the ramps and bumps. Crash down? I'm just not very good there

Still there's a lot of time I could make up on the other worlds

Oh definitely. Havent even finished the other worlds yet, not to mention "serious" highscoring. Will probably look into world 2 in the coming week.

If they screwed up, I'm glad they did. Otherwise, I'd have missed the Disgaea and Prinny sale.

Wow those last few chapters I did in Gravity Rush were really good. I'm up to episode 18 now, nearing the end if the trophy list is anything to go by.

I'm gonna beat you and Shahed!

one day ._.

Yeah, and the last 2 are fairly quick/combined... you can finish the game in less than an hour probably if you just do the missions quick.

I hope EDF2017 has a demo. Never played a game in the series yet so I'm not sure if I'd like it. At least with retail I could always sell it off if I don't like it or give it to someone, but with the it being DD only I'm quite hesitant

OH MAN. I just finished playing the Rayman Legends demo on Wii U. This game HAS to come to Vita. It's soooo good. And some part where you control some little guy with the touchscreen reminded me so much of LBP Vita.

Wasnt that announced as exclusive? Or only as timed exclusive?

Agreed, Gurumin needs more love. Such a charming game.

Make any of your friend download it so you can try it out, hehe.

Seriously, if you have a friend with Xbox360 and EDF2017 that might be the best way to try it out.
EDF2017 Vita is the almost direct port of EDF2017 from Xbox360, plus some extra missions, online capability, and most importantly, PALEWING.
If you nitpick you can notice some downgrades, but they both play basically the same (I was quite surprised how well Sandlot managed to port it to Vita).

wow...i go away for 2 weeks and we're 50 pages in to a new thread. impressive.

<3 vitaGAF

i see BSI is recieving mixed impressions, Surge is a must have additive puzzler, and we a fellow gaffer got konami to address SOTN vita compatibility issue. good job.

below are uncharted impressions:

so i didn't play every day ( nor did i want to) on vacation, but i think i have like 3 chapters left in Uncharted. pretty excited to finish it. after beating i'm considering working my way through again to collect everything.

after more time with the game i'm not sold on

the tilt aiming. i got better with it and its a nice feature for small adjustments on aiming, but overall i still felt like i was using the rt stick to try to get as close as i could to the enemies' head area.

the touch featuers werent as annoying as i was expecting... still don't like the rubbings though. they shoulda made it so if you rub too fast the paper could tear and if you rub too slow it doesnt get transferred. and the damn log balancing still havent perfected it.

really dont like the melee punch "button", dont mind the touch swipes during a fight, but the button really messed me up, half the time i was dropping a grenade as i was meleeing.

machete parts were garbage

read people werent much fans of the new characters. i agree chase is annoying... real annoying. didn't mind dante though. i dont mind the jungle settings, but what irritates me (and they even point it out jokingly) is the repetitive gameplay/story... like find a way up there. find a way up here. etc. also the rowing part was reaaally tiresome.

i think the stories with uncharted series are pretty strong though from an artifact/archeolgy pov, but the rest of the garbage is pretty boring and repetitive.

def hoping for a sequel though. and def a mustplay for vita owners.

Wasnt that announced as exclusive? Or only as timed exclusive?

Yeah but it could eventually come to other platforms I suppose. I hope so anyway.

It wasn't really announced as exclusive in any way, they just haven't explicitly said it's being released on anything but Wii U. Hopefully Ubisoft still believes enough in the Vita to port Legends over.*

*It might be exclusive in Japan though, Nintendo is publishing there
