PS1 games since they also increase the running time of the battery.

Wild Arms if you like RPGs! Alundra if you like Zeldas!

PSOne:
Castlevania Chronicles, Symphony of the Night, Tomba!, Klonoa, MGS, FF7, FF8, FF9, RE1, RE2, RE3

PSP:
Prinny!, Patapon 2, Castlevania: Dracula X, Final Fantasy Tactics (PS+), The Red Star, Strikers 1945 Plus

Vita:
Tomb of Montezuma Blitz, Zen Pinball 2, Frobisher Says, Super Stardust Delta, SunFlowers, MotorStorm RC, Sine Mora

All can be had for less than $15. Some of the multidisc PSOne games take up some decent space though.

Could I get some help please. I am taking a growth hormone stress test monday. Going to be hooked up to a IV for 4-5 hours. What are some of the better time killer games that are cheap? I just got AC and the PS+ games. Going to clear off uncharted to make room for some games. I have 20-30 in my wallet to spend for this also only have 4 gig card so not a ton of room. Also you think the web browser is good enough to keep my laptop at home?

Try some PSP RPGs

Yeah, I'm almost certain Atlus will do another Vita title.

As far as likely ports go, I've said it loads before but I still believe it: Catherine seems the most likely to me. The structure, and the fact that it's the Persona team, make me think it's much more likely (Technically, Nocturne and DDS1 were made by a lot of the Persona team too, but I feel like that's less well-known).

I'm pretty sure were getting a Nocturne port... I can sense it....

I rarely ever take my portable outdoors, mostly because I don't use a man purse.... But I'm tempted to bring it to the Hobbit tonight. I get the feeling it'll be a long, crappy wait at the theatre.

Wish near worked without wifi.

It will remember the positions you were at when there is any Wifi around (even if you dont log into that Wifi spot). It checks for meetings on the positions where it found any Wifi connection when you connect to your Wifi back at home.

But yeah.. you cant get any connections right on the spot.

probably nsfw

When it got to 3:45, I was like YEAH!

Oh lawd, I think this trailer finally pushed me over the edge. I have to import it. Plus, if enough people import it, maybe that'll finally convince them of localizing it, of which I'd double dip.

New Velocity on Vita will be amazing, day one for me. I think I might take the dive and get Alundra today, I've been dying to get it/play it on my Vita.

3G Purchase justified! .. Somewhat.
Also lucky you going to watch The Hobbit :/

Yessss, do that. I am just waiting for a reason to start a Lets Play thread honestly since so many people seem to stop playing after a while because its too challenging or whatever :p

Do these smaller PS1 titles ever get sales or are these only directed by big publishers (i.e. Squeenix).

Oh and we are still missing the US christmas sales for PSN , right? Someone said about a week before christmas? Would be neat to get some PS1 games for cheap there.

Nearly every time I've tried using near on a secured connection, geolocation was disabled (at Carleton University, the Department of National Defence and downtown Ottawa). It'd be nice if it worked at the theatre but I'll stay neutral on the whole thing. Getting a few minutes of LBP should be enough.

Once I start playing it, I won't stop till I beat it :) I enjoy games that give me a challenge, I don't like push over games so. If a game has an overworld I generally like to explore every nook and cranny of it so~

You should love it. Its also one of the games that rewards players playing with a pencil and notebook next to them. Small piece of advice.

this will look really sweet on the Vita.
so they are porting this? or is this a sign of PS2 classics playable on the Vita?

btw, anyone used a Dead Pixel tester on your Vita or something

Amazon shipped both the PDP Custom Crystal Case and PDP Folio to me.. now to return one

it's a port and I think the ps blog just accidentally (mostly) confirmed it as coming to NA. (or when ever the blog post I am just getting to was added which coudl have been hours ago lol)

Guess I shouldn't have bought the PS2 version at Gamestop.

Though if it doesn't include Dante and puts in Donte or Raidou I'm going to be a sad panda. :(

I'd much, much, much rather have Raidou than Dante.

But like I say I think it'll be Catherine that's ported next.

Squeenix had some sales on PSOne titles during their FF sale at some point.
Otherwise, PSOne games are hardly ever discounted in the US store.
And I wouldn't bet on a Christmas sale in the US -- though if it exists, I wouldn't count on it being any good either.

Don't mind me, I'm currently irritated with Sony over several issues. ;)

So I just started playing PE1 again, and I had completely forgotten about the intro's gnarliness. I hope this game lives up to my fond, vague memories.

Why is your connection so slow?

He is on the road and informed us earlier not to worry about him in case he doesnt say anything for a few days ;)

Oh,good luck to you tak,try to play some resistance BS online it'll work just like it does on a high speed connection.

Which of the two God Of War games on PSP should I be getting? Any opinions on them?

I enjoyed the first one a bit more, but they were both fun and great games. Just start with the 1st one and then see how much more GoW you want :)

Get Ghosts of Sparta, chain of Olympus is really short.......

Ah yeah, you are right. Ghost of Sparta is a bit longer. He might as well get that then.

So many (lovely) posts. Thanks for the BSI tips again Omega, broke a million yesterday, well chuffed with the game now, B&W filter is a b*tch though. (There are some goods on near for the game too - finally turned on the app once outside of the home and racked up over 3500 miles in one go....no big deal but that 0 miles travelled felt like it was taunting me for months.

Sorry to hear about your vita DiscoJason, hopefully returned in no time, good as new.

Gotta agree with Derrick and others about the triggers, although I haven't had serious issues yet I don't think (unless I loosen the pressure too much - try what was suggested with the screwdriver..) - just wish they were better designed, it's my only niggle about the hardware - btw use a grip if you are finding it too uncomfortable or the rear touch pad a pain to use.

GR gameplay (gravity) mechanics are mainly what sold me on the game and they didn't dissappoint (after some practice) but yeah, I'd love more to do in free roam.

DOA5 is looking good and also can't wait to have an upgraded Velocity.

Some decent games still to come this year, really hoping for folders any day now...otherwise yeah, minis are gone for me too.

Ok... daily catchup sufficiently accomplished.
(I'm looking at you tamaster92)

-Also, a bit OT but I picked up this Jabra bluetooth music streaming thing (totally forgot the Vita had bluetooth till I checked infront of the store clerk) and it works great - I can stash the vita away easily or walk away from it while it is charging without taking off or unplugging headphones and having my music stream, with a decent range too! Has a built in mic for those skype conversations (hopefully working) and the remote controls work great for music selection too. - can connect it to 2 devices to stream audio from (like pc and vita or phone).
I was mostly thinking about playing on public transport (especially the tube) when I have to quickly get off at a stop and don't want to mess around with the cables all over the place and reconnecting them.

Also to whoever mentioned manbags - they definitely help with the vita (especially with a grip) - luckily a friend who has lots gave me a touristy one which is great when on holiday, no weird looks at all...might need something else for london though..

Oh and bluetooth for remoteplay controls is a good idea I think (if they are lagging over wifi (not just the video feed)). Why even bother syncing, no need I think. I picked up Tokyo Jungle just for remote play (hoping the patch lands before christmas like Yoshida hopes but who knows with him (on twitter) right ;) - although he did mention folders in a twitter reply earlier too.. )

Six? Seven? :p

... and yes, I am bored at work.

Did everyone already know there's a new update for LBPV out. Just updated to v1.05

I did..subscribed to the OP which is in community now, but I'd love an app that scans for updates on apps installed on the vita.

Haha - sorry, least there's something new to read - but yeah I'm a really bad offender with edits..don't seem to be getting any better.

Also forgot to mention but I'd love Sega Ultimate Collection on Vita as well...the regular on psp is missing a few titles I wanted (didn't even know about the borked physics).

What is this talk about taking a screwdriver to the shoulder buttons or something?

If the R button is making a squeaking noise, you can use a screwdriver to loosen a screw behind that button to make it disappear.

That's just to stop them squeaking.

That's what I thought too but I think I read Iacobellis mentioning it helped with his issues with the Left trigger. Haven't tried it myself but worth a shot I guess if it's really noticeable.

[If you move your finger around while holding the trigger buttons they can disengage/stop registering, best to keep them still :/ - but it seems some people might have more serious issues with them - give it a go with the screw driver loosening/tightening... )

Hey guys, I just got my vita and it's an awesome piece of hardware. Not sure why this isn't selling well. I've got a few games, battle royale, Asscreed and a number of the free ones off of psn. Any of you guys recommend any apps or more games?

Persona 4 Golden and Virtue's Last Reward are rather good.

Also, PS Plus currently nets you Gravity Rush and Uncharted.

Pretty sure P4G is highly recommended if your into that thing. It will probably be one of the first vita games I get.
