Also, since it hasnt been answered yet, does the progress of playing the Ragnarök demo transfer over in any way to the full version?
Also: first impressions from the demo: I like the battle system. Will you learn more battle/combo skills later on? Tried to play around with attack/hard attack/jump attack/jump charge attack etcpp and this seems fun so far. Graphics also are native res and other than having some blocks here and there, actually look pretty nice. not mind blowing, but still nice.

I know that feeling too wellMy Steam account also has like 350+ games I havent properly played. I finally managed to stop my purchasing urges on PS360 and PC though.
I sort of restricted myself to Vita for now (until Last of Us I guess), and try to get some games done. Needed to force myself to finally finish AC:L, but damn does it feel good to finally finish a game once again.
Yeah I play the occasional 'short' game to make me feel better .. ala Hotline Miami. But as you know, stuff like DF, Gnormaria, Towns ..... there is no real end game :/
I have actually restricted myself with the HD twins. Dragon's Dogma is the first game in like 2 months and before then I was waiting for a price drop on the MGS HD pack, which I got .. then Tokyo Jungle (which I refuse to play until the remote play patch comes). And Halo 4 was the first game in last year or so for Xbox.
But PC it's hard .. fucking deals.
But yeah decided to restrict myself to buying new on Vita/ 3DS and PC is only for specials in the 80% range.

I feel awful for saying this, but I think I've only fully played and beaten, like, 5 of my Steam games... I can blame my small 200-ishGB HDD, right?

Same. Only thing I'm keeping an eye on is RPG Maker but that's $70 and it just went up on the store so at best it would get a 50% deal and I'm not spending $35 on it. The steam sale thing has kind of worn off on me as I brought my PC collection up to date and I buy all the new games coming out that I want.
Plus if I get any money this holiday it's going to my Vita collection. My shopping list is still a good ~15 games long.
Considering I have like 500GB installed Steam games, I can assure you that a bigger HDD doesnt help a bit

I saw something on Google earlier that said 2.00 allows you to disable the rear touch functionality, but I can't see anything. Did the option disappear in 2.01?

It's there in my 2.0.1.
Options > controller settings > assign rear touchpad > press quadrant > do not use.
I think there are a few other retail games that don't let you take screenshots. At least some fighting game I think?

Hmmmmm... LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival is not playable on the Vita? The other LocoRocos are Vita compatible. Well, that's some wasted download limt for the month.
Question: If games are made compatible later (like with SotN) does that man that you have to redownload them? How does that work, when they turn on compatibility?

I will, but I'm not completely sure when. I'm leaving Japan on the 20th, so I might not be able to download it until America's 20th (night) or 21st. Unless we leave after noon, or the airport has free WiFi.

Now Sony on the other hand need learn from Steam and Amazon and do some serious seals (not only for PS+ people ) and also lower the crazy prices for the old games.

I wasnt actually trying to imply that you dont own it. I was merely asking because I'd need to argue differently depending on whether you actually own the game or not since you havent stated before (Btw I would have believed you even without a screenshot, I wouldnt call you a "liar"). If you still want my explanation why I think its a good game, I'd still like to know for how long you played it.

Both Nihilistic games spring to mind. Also UMvC3 and WipEout 2048 (although that has a built-in photo mode). I think that might be it.
They're a fun novelty, but they lack the depth of a Pokemon or something. I don't know how much they are on EU PSN, but if they're cheap enough they're worth a try.
and it just let you ask why in hell Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner is not on the PSN store? and why Bamco don't throw a Digimon game at us?
Yeah deals are important but for me game prices lowering as they get older like console games is more important. I still have a bunch of launch era games on my list, and I don't want to buy them used because I'd like to help contribute to what has to be horrible software sales, but at the same time I am NOT going to pay $35 for dynasty warriors or virtua tennis regardless of their quality. These games are almost a full year old and still full price. It's unacceptable.
You living in the US? I read that some retail outlets had some pretty nice game deals during Black Friday :/ Sad you missed it.

retail deals wont cut it, and many some people like digital especially on handhelds and sadly most of the old Vita games are near full prices (majority of old PSP games are still in full price..it's crazy when newer PC on Steam or Amazon games are way cheaper than random PSP games no one know about) Sony need to do something about PS store pricing..they need to talk to other publishers or just lower their since the older Sony games are the worst price wise.
Nintendo isnt really innocent in that area as well though. Most Nintendo published games sell for launch price for 2-3 years. The non classics line Galaxy or Zelda games on Wii still cost 40$ too. And I mean we arent even a year into the Vita's lifetime yet. Still a good chance they'll lower some game prices next year when some other bigger titles hit.
But I still agree, the difference of retail pricing to DD pricing is jarring. Paying extra "DD fee" is not fun
I did manage to grab Most Wanted for $20 from Origin but most of the money went to the vita itself and other things like the case, screen protector and 32gb memory.
Yep, we're getting it on Wednesday this side of the pond (Europe).

I'm still so bitter about the 32gb shortage that happened at the Vita launch in Japan. ><
Yeah I got that a bit later so I was stuck with the 4gb for a while and all I could have was Uncharted. Then I deleted Uncharted when I finished it to make room for other stuff and lost my save including all my collectible progress
