Sorry, but did you check the plug wasn't in upside down? It goes in both ways, which is totally idiotic. Also you have to really check both connections going to the power brick, they're both pretty stiff.
 
Hey Gaf I just found this logging on the web store and looking in my download history

There's some content that seems to be downloadable directly on PC. Here it shows that you can download the PS3 certificate but there's also some PSP games that can be downloaded. The DL starts but it only get a file with a long name that seems to be something like a certificate... Something new incoming??

Mentioned it a couple of weeks back, but I'm not sure what the file could be used for.
 
TOMBA PSone IS PSVITA COMPATIBLE ON AUSTRALIAN PSV!!

I was browsing the online store on PC. Searched for Tomba and it comes up as Vita compatible.

It doesn't come up on PSV in the PSone listings unless you search for it manually. I bought it, downloaded it (all via vita) and IT WORKS!

Piggies are doomed now.
 
I do love amazon sometimes. I rang up and bitched at them, the courier will pick it up tomorrow and refund will be in my bank by the latest 12pm on Thursday

Also it comes with a 2 pin charger. So make sure to buy a 3 pin adapter from Amazon or something if you dont have one. Would suck if you couldnt play it because of that :)
 
I have a question: imagine i have a vita with a 4gb card only and i want to buy PSN version of uncharted that is near 3gb size. Where does the vita save the file before installation?. It cant save it to the 4gb card and after that install it, I supposse. So, do downloads go first to the internal flash memory?.

Vita doesnt need double the space like the PS3 does I dont think. It will just install it as soon as the download is done and thats it.

Hopefully it will arrive before xmas. If not, a few days after isn't to bad and if anything will make him more excited when he does get it..... there are definitely worse xmas gift disasters that can happen.
 
So anyone have recommendations for cases? I've had the regular Sony one since launch and I'm really tired of how bulky it is. I like that there's a space for your games and mem cards but it's so flimsy and the pockets for the cards doesn't really hold them in place. Any movement and they just fall out and rattle around in the thing.

It doesn't help it also offers all of the protection of a pillow case...

Sharing PS+ account on Vita would be awkward.
What would be nice is if someone has one of those PS+ one month codes and wants to hook tamaster92 up... but don't post it up in here, PM it, so it doesn't get taken and the bf can apply it to his account on Christmas when he creates it (if he doesn't have it already).

I still use the Thrustmaster VIP case. It only holds the vita itself but its a nice snug fit that seems to keep it well protected. It worked perfectly for a trip to the states and back to the UK.

I just got one of those small plastic holders for the games and mem cards.

You can see in here, I assume, that the vita case itself is removable and does a good job as a mini case.

There is no choice. :)

Vita is an awesome console on it's own, having a PS3 just amplifies the awesome.
 
I just picked up an 8gb memory card and a carrying case for my Vita. I was lucky enough to pick up the AC3 bundle for 199$ at a gamestop here in boston :D

Loving P4G and Gravity Rush, almost completed the blob game. Really looking forward to see what PS+ offers in the near future.
