Persona 1 hasn't age well....
Does the story at least hold up? lol
Otherwise I may need to pick a different RPG.

If SRPG is ok, look into Tactics Ogre. Do it! One of the best games on PSP library.Does the story at least hold up? lol

I don't know what to dig into next after finishing VLR. I put some time into Hot Shots but that's a pick up and play anytime game. Unit 13, Persona or need for speed...

For PS1 FF7, FF9 still hold up really well imo if we exclude the blocky character models of FF7.
Oh btw it breaks my heart Birth By Sleep is not on PSN. It's the #1 game I'd like to replay on Vita. Perhaps someday with homebrew...
If you end up liking Persona, it will take forever to finish. So I'd recommend getting other titles out the way so there's nothing to distract you from the 60+ hours you'll invest in it
aw crap, I said persona 1, but I meamt Parasite Eve.
Does Parasite Eve hold up?
Or did I?You forgot FF8, friend.![]()

Yes. Just a tip to save you from rage I had to endure: there is a fake save point when you are fighting the last boss. Do not fall for it or you will most likely have to start the fight all over again.
I played it last year and found it to still be a lot of fun. Really high production values, fun real-time battle system, cool sci-fi story imo, and a rather short but sweet play-time. It's certainly worth playing today, and should look fantastic on the Vita.

I like FF8 alright but I wouldn't recommend it before the other 2. They are better games with better stories.
True I suppose. Guess I'll go with unit 13.

Oh, also, is there a way to have the Vita auto upload saves/update like the PS3?
Yup.
Buy PS+.
Go into Content Manger.
Select Cloud storage.
Vita to Cloud.
Press the i next to each game you want to auto upload.
Check auto-upload.
Tada!
Does this work for Ps1 saves? I don't have my vita yet but it would be nice to be able to sync them between the ps3 and vita.
Did anyone else realize that there's now a demo for Colors?
Wasn't listed under new demos, but I noticed it was up a week or so ago.
Not a problem. It's not like they contributed anything of note for the PS3 generation, so I'm sure SCEJ will be par for the fucking course.
Been a happy vita owner since the amazon Black Friday bundle.
But the vita has never been able to identify my location. Both inside and outside and I am wondering if my gps is broken. Anyone else have this issue? I don't really care about near or the map app but who knows maybe a game will come out that uses this info.

For some reason I feel really tempted to buy P4G.
Haven't played a good RPG in a while and I've never played a persona game.
I'll have to backup Little Big Planet and Wipeout to download it though since I only have a 4gb memory card right now (32gb estimated arrival January 2nd)
Hmm...

Can you run PSP CFW on the latest version of Vita firmware?

Here's a question, because this is pretty much the friendliest place on GAF - when does one become a full member (as in not junior)? I thought it was three months or 300 posts, whichever came first, but I'm past bothI'm likely completely wrong so feel free to berate me.
On topic: got AC3L for Xmas - holy crap that game is good, really enjoyable, both a refreshing entry in the AC series and a solid portable game. Really want to see another one.
Ignore me, and my apparent inability to read numbers! Read it as 322 or somethingCheers!
I agree, I might not be all that up for CoD Vita, but I hope they do a better one for those people who really do enjoy it.
your profile says you have 233 posts, I am not sure when you aren't a JR anymore but if it's at 300 you aren't there.
I couldn't get into AssCreed3L personally, but I haven't been able to get into the AssCreed (and I will always call it AssCreed and not AC because AC= Armored Core :/) hopefully in general though for the people who enjoy the series we do see more uncharted/CoD/AssCreed that have been given more time in development to make something special.

I should point out for the purpose of this conversation that I abhor games on iOS that should use buttons, but it doesn't change the fact that many people are able to play them and play them very well. The difference being that controllers don't make FPS games completely unplayable (every FPS ever could be played with a controller without any problems or needing to change anything), whereas touch screen controls in a game like Motorstorm RC (which needs quick yet precise motions) would simply make the game impossible to play as it is.
They're labelled as imports, and will have the flag of origin (JP/US) on the "box art".I also kind of remember they started adding NTSC psone games to the european store but I don't know how many of them there are :/
My girlfriend gifted a Vita to me for January 6th "Reyes Magos"... I convinced her to let me transfer all the downloaded games from my PS3, but she doesn't let me play any until then. Those are really nice custom wallpapers, but that amount of space per game/series is a luxury you may not have for long with only ten screens
BTW, why are you waiting until the 6th?
What are the best ps classics? Which ones hold up with todays games and aren't just nostalgia trips. I have 40 bucks in psn moneys.
I never owned a psone but have played ff7 and 8. I'm thinking about getting ff9 and mgs but don't know how well the later holds up since I have played twin snakes.
How the slag do you make custom wallpapers like that![]()
Hopefully the FW teams go into full action after the new year and give us unlimited screens so i can do this on multiple series on my vita, also we need to have access to customize the ps1 icons, that square just looks really ugly
Thanks, too bad only games that never got to Europe or newer releases as classics are NTSC. Really wish they'd give the opportunity to choose the original version for every game in the store since the whole 50hz/black bars issue was well known in the PSOne era. They're labelled as imports, and will have the flag of origin (JP/US) on the "box art".

^^ link to the classics section on the store. You can see Spyro there with the US flag.
Why oh why didn't they bting a COD:MW greatest hits to vita? All they had to do was consolidate MW 1&2 into one story with 10 of the best MP maps and call it a day.
That thing would have sold bucket loads.
Same with assassins creed vita.
