I've been in 115, but thankfully dry not humid.
It was still pretty brutal from my perspective.
115 + 99% humidity. Was working on our land clearing it... some of my fondest memories riding a tractor and cutting up brush!

Ditto. Was in Marrakech two summers ago, in July, when a massive heat wave struck for four days. The worst thing was the wind. Hot, dry, desert wind. We just sat at cafés, lounged in our hotel, and went to the water park just outside of town.Close to 50 degrees Celsius in Morocco (low humidity though).
It's the dry heat tho.
This. When I was in Vegas.I've been in 115, but thankfully dry not humid.

Back when i used to live in Mexico (mexicali).
It used to be like 115 F (46.1 C) daily.
Ive always hated "its a dry heat" BS. 117 is fucking hot regardless of humidity
For me it's probably when it'd cross the 100 F mark in Georgia, combined with high humidity. That stuff is just miserable.
I visited Phoenix on the 4th of July a while back, and I think it was 110-120 F that weekend, almost certainly the hottest I've ever been in.This, in 2003. Fuck Iraqs weather. During the summer it got crazy hot, then during winter it rained all the time and made all the dirt a giant mud pit.
Here in the states, I grew up in Phoenix, 120 was not unheard of.
My girlfriend lives in Lake Elsinore, and during the summer it sometimes gets up to 110-115 F. Visiting her house during the summer is not fun.

I grew up in Georgia which is probably pretty humid, and I also kind of resent the "oh but it's a dry heat" people, since 115 in Arizona still felt like you were sticking your head in an oven.Plus I would constantly feel like my mouth was weird and dried out, even with drinking water and whatnot.
It was crazy in Phoenix though, since I seem to recall that driving from there up to the Grand Canyon went from 115 to very nice, or almost even cool, weather.
Inlaws live in Hemet, it gets toasty! The wind blows and it feels like an oven. It really is better than if it was 100 and humid, though.
I've lived near Phoenix my entire life. Hottest I think It ever got was about 20 years ago it was 122F. It gets over 110F pretty routinely I just consider the summers here like getting snowed in somewhere else. Wife and I both work from home and will usually only run errands early in the morning or late at night.
Assumed this thread would be about Australia. Turns out the OP is in my city.
My hottest was on "Black Saturday(?)" a few years ago in Victoria. Stepped out of Melbourne airport and could hardly believe the heat and wind. It was in the mid 40s, I believe. Almost laughed.
Thankfully, I managed to stay in AC most of the day.
I didn't realize there were so many people from TAS on here. =P
I couldn't sleep well last night, as it was the hottest night on record in this city.
This wind we are getting today is a real worry, i hope it doesn't turn into another Black Saturday!
