Why do the recent Basic starter pokemon look chibified. Look at Bulbasaur, that still looks like something you don't want to fuck with while remaining cute. Gen 1 and I guess Gen 2 they seemed to have bigger bodies minus cindaquil.
Will probably be the starter Ash uses in the next anime.Chespin is the new Pikachu BOOM
This post made me incredibly sad because of how true it is. Especially this year. Mass Effect 3, Diablo III, and Hitman: Absolution never had a chance.
Nah, every gen seems pretty chibi-ish. Charmander clearly has a huge head.
This is Pokemon, however. We know exactly what we're getting and it's exactly what we want - more of the same in a gussied-up package. They've been selling games with this strategy for years, and it works.
Am I the only one who sees Froakie's collar as foam?
I wonder which will win in a 3-way tourney setup..I just realized:
6 gens = you can make an all type themed starter team (if they're all in the game).

In all honesty I think it would hurt the series if they tried to significantly change up the gameplay or something to that effect.
What is the name of the water Pokèmon of Gen II?
What is the name of the water Pokèmon of Gen II?
All time starter ranking!
Grass:
Bulbasaur > Snivy > Treecko > Turtwig > Chespin > Bayleef
Fire:
Chimchar > Charmander > Torchic > Fennekin > Cyndaquil > Tepig
Water:
Froakie > Totodile > Squirtle > Piplup > Oshawatt > Mudkip
Kinda weird but when I first saw them I really liked all 3 of the new starters but the more I look at them compared to all the rest they actually started to rank lower and lower.

Thanks.Totodile.
Wikipedia said:The wyvern (and its 'cousin' the four-legged dragon) is a frequent heraldic device on British coats of arms and flags, and a fairly popular commercial logo or mascot as well, especially in Wales and what was once the West Country Kingdom of Wessex, but also farther afield in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, as the rivers Wye and Severn run through Hereford and Worcester respectively.

Also, the [Greek] letter "chi" looks like this - X
Also, the name for Y in many European languages literally translates into "Greek I"
Perhaps it will be Paris + Mediterranean coast?

I don't know ho people like Chespin. Looks way overdesigned for me. How many different colours does he have - Green back, light brown body, dark brown arms, white feet, orange tail. Not to mention the flairs on his head, the weird thing he's got going on with his feet and his facial tribal markings.
Whereas fennec has a clair and communicatable design, which I greatly prefer.

Gen 1 > 2 = 4 > 5 = 6 > 3
I'm sure you will all agree.
