Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

There's no code to redeem the Vita version, it's done on the PS3 by associating the disc with your PSN account.
Is this the same for all of them? Explains why HMV aren't listing the PS3 version of PSABR for trade... now I don't know whether to keep my copy or just sell it. :/

played a game for 3 hours every night for almost two weeks now.. looks like I "only" need to play for two more nights two finish the game.. so that´s like 25+ hours, without going for trophies, just to complete the story in the game. Either I suck or the game has lots of content.. Then it´s trophy hunting time..

Just noticed VG+ have it now as well. For preorder, so presumably they're gonna get stock in at some point.

Decisions decisions ~

Wait, same price as UK? It's not coming to the UK. Are we talking about the same game here? D:

ah sorry, thought you were talking about P4G, just noticed it was Technika. Ignore me :P

Well, if you happen to know anyone who is buying the PS3 version who doesn't have a Vita, you can redeem that copy on your PSN account.

I did that to get my brother's free Vita copy of All-Stars.

To be fair I am trying to cheat - I'd like the Vita code and to be able to trade in the PS3 version. I guess I can just sell it online somewhere.

Which game?Sly 4?

I traded in a bunch of Wii stuff for £70 and got Street Fighter x Tekken and a bunch of PSN credit for EDF next week.

Does SFxT not have a simple control option like UMvC3? I like feeling like a badass whilst doing very little.

If it's the same one I got on ps3 with the ratchet collection then there's not much there. It might be a tutorial or really early level mission because it wasn't even slightly challenging.

Then again the sly series in general is a lot like that so I have no idea where it could be in the story.

It's different. Although I personally liked the demo with the R&C collection.

I think it has something called Casual Mode. I have never touched it so I don't know what it is. That said SFxTekken and the character swapping juggle system is really fun even without some casual mode. Doing a launcher into a couple of hits followed by a special is very rewarding visually and really helps you learn some timing that will help you when you try to optimize combos and stuff. Not that I am any good!

haha, still gonna be fun. Still trying to break into soccer. As an american I still don't know too much.

That's what stopped me from getting into Fifa 12's franchise mode on PC. I like managing franchises in sports games but it helps that I really know football, baseball and basketball. Soccer...not so much. I was left with a permanent confused look on my face and stuck to just playing with the players and not doing the management part.

I tried out Casual Mode; I think it's touch/rear touch only instead of simplified combos mapped to buttons like in UMvC3. That's kinda lame. :(

Guess I'll have to learn to actually play the game, haha.

i breezed through the first 6 or 7 levels in EDF
and im stuck at the 2nd level where i have to destroy spaceships hitting them on the under side :( i get overwhelmed

little sad to be reading the US online Psn store will be releasing later this month and they are only planning on supporting the ps3 for automatic downloads... oh well it's not like the vita store isn't like 1092112908210982109281 times faster than the ps3 to snag stuff lol.

Just beat mission #60 in EDF. So good. ♥

I'm so jelly.
I'm on mission 12, since I keep trying to beat each one on Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hardest.
Which has been working out okay so far.

Not going to try to beat Inferno without a team of four.

Its really hard for me to enjoy Most wanted on the Vita lately. I love the game but the more I play it, little shit irritates me. Playing on the smaller screen sucks because any menu pop ups absorb the damn screen, preventing me from seeing whats in front of me. Also a lot of cars crash on a dime to the littlest curb or light pole, something that's harder for me to distinguish on the screen.

Also, fuck the AI and its infinite NOS

I agree with these points--especially about the UI interruptions and awful rubber-banding AI--but I still really enjoy the game because I'm encouraged to get better at it.

Also, if you want a break from NFS, grab a copy of SONIX & SEGA's All-star Racing Transformed--it's AWESOME on the Vita, and an all-around terrific game to boot.

Now that I've 100% Dokuro, and am almost there on Jetpack Joyride, I'm looking for another quick pick up and play game. I'm finding these are the easiest to play during the early evening and don't seem to see any others (Hot Shots was great until I hit the later courses, now that game requires a lot of focus).

Anyone have any suggestions for a game that is great in quick short bursts? Would Motorstorm RC be great for that?

Edit: Bottom of the page, Noooooooooooooooooo...
