it's so ugly at times lol
it plays well though. The story isn't very good so far though... oh well I bought it mostly for the challenge towers :P

edit: top of the page recommendation. Buy the binding of isaac when it comes to the vita later this year... it will be awesome @_@

I got rid of my consoles and never had to chance to play it on them. It does get fugly sometimes but I love Cage...
 
Even though I also have the PS3 version sitting on my HDD, taking up 9 gigs of precious space, I've played way more MK on my Vita. I really like it but the AI is some of the cheatingness, input readingess, bastardry I've witnessed in a fighting game.

I only really notice the graphically disparity when the closes ups switch from prerendered to in game during story mode. Once the actual fights begin I stop caring.

i had no interest in playing MK against other people and just wanted the bonus challenge tower as I figured that would be where all of my time was spent thus I went with the vita version. so far it seems well worth the $10.

oh don't get me wrong it's not like I care about graphics to the point where it's killing my enjoyment. Quite frankly I would prefer if more companies reduced graphics and focused on solid gameplay. I am just surprised at how it looks from time to time given how seemingly powerful the vita is. Of course it was an early game, and likely not maximized for the vita, just tweaked enough to make it run smooth so that is likely part of it.

Agreed about the friend limit, though I still have plenty of room. Sending invites to a few that posted theirs just now. If anyone still needs to add me, mine is MattNY.

Here is my list of games I would be looking to play MP soon:

1. Pure Chess
2. Mortal Kombat (haven't played it yet, but wouldn't mind getting my ass kicked anyways)
3. Hot Shot's Golf (same as MK)

I suspended P4G to add Anastacio. When I closed the Friends tab, my Vita froze. All dat social link progress: gone.

Man, it really does look good! And I loved Crash Team Racing and Mario Kart: Super Circuit as well. I'm just waiting for a price cut. =/

So, what are the new Vitabro's top 5 Vita games?
 
Do I need to change my memory card to access the Japanese store with my Japanese account? I really want that Soul Sacrifice demo and Social room.

Also, you who are on my friend list, you are more than welcome to chat me and send me messages on Vita as well. :)

Is currently downloading an update from July for Everybody's Golf (Hot Shots Golf). If I remember correctly, there are chat rooms in that game.

I've lurked on GAF for a while, but this thread pushed me over the edge and forced me to sign up for an account. I just got a Vita around the holidays, and I'm loving it so far.

Games: Hot Shots Golf: World International, P4 Golden, AssLib and I've been on plus since June, so all of those games too. Looking to pick up VLR after I finish 999.

To all those that are on the fence about Golden, just buy it. Seriously, it's stellar.

PSN is musai-kai if you're inclined to get more names on your friend lists.

It's now impossible to access Japanese content on your account. You'll need either a 2nd memory card or reformat your current one to access the JPN PSN, but you can't use any of the content you get on there on your main NA/EU account.

Oh they changed that? Too bad. Though I have a 4GB memory card besides my 32GB.

Now I'm less inclined to buy Sonic Racing Transformed seeing 2 guys saying the controls isn't for them and too floaty. Guess I'll download the PS3 demo tomorrow.

I usually suck at top 5 lists, but I'll give it a shot.

1. P4G (ohmygodsogood)
2. Sound Shapes
3. Gravity Rush
4. HSG
5. AssLib I guess, don't really have a 5th for now. But that's going to change this week. Wake Up Club week is coming...
 
Ok probably a really stupid question... If I have PS+ on PS3 I will have it on the Vita as well when I get it.. right? Or do I need another subscription?

I still feel bad for zipper. Mag was a good experiment i thought, though the game did get old. Then Socom 4, the earthquake then the PSN Hack. Then..... Unit 13, solid game I think it suffered from the major hype surrounding Golden Abyss, combined with the bad launch sales.

Umm....

1) Gravity Rush
2) MotorStorm RC
3) Persona 4 Golden
4) Wipeout
5) Hot Shots Golf

I picked out of Vita format games only (i play have too many psp games i play on my vita it would take me a while to decide). And P4G is pretty low, but my playtime with it has been very limited and in the limited play time i've had. I love it, but Gravity Rush and Motorstorm are just 2 games that were the life of my vita for so long that it just hasn't caught up yet.
 
Ok, caved and got a Vita!
I've updated to 2.02, and the "PS" light is blue, no response from anything. Last thing I saw it was installing. It's plugged in and charging, but for like 15 minutes its not responsive. Is this normal?

On my list of things to get. I have a couple new PSP titles, Disgaea 3 Vita, and MK to jump back into still after I finish Persona 4.

I'll hopefully get it over the summer when my free time is more abundant .... classes. Not really multiple ones, just Organic Chemistry.... and maybe it will be a few bucks cheaper.
 
Gotta reccomend SfXTk. Best looking fighter on the system and netcode is amazing. Tons of content and value.

Hopefully the 2013 update makes things a bit more interesting.

=( You should def play Zero Escape before MK. Never played D3 but I heard it was worse than D4 so I would have to say Zero Escape is winning!

If you have a frys near you, you can get it for 20 still I think. Newegg was doing a preorder -10off thing so I got it day one for 30.
