Wandering Wind (B)(B)(B)(B)(B)

Legend - Zombie Lover (Necrophiliac? lol)

When Wandeirng Wind comes into play, destroy all creatures target opponent controls. Put a 2/2 black Zombie token into play for each creature put into the graveyard this way.

Other zombies you control get +1/+1

2/2

"I love me some zombies!" - Wandering Wind

lulz...

I'd play it!

You guys aren't accounting for the various ways to get around a destroy effect.

Exile all ceatures. Draw a card
for each creature exiled this way.
Put all cards exiled this way into
the graveyard. Put a 2/2 black
zombie token into play for each
card put into the graveyard this
way.

"It's not prejudiced against
tokens as long as you don't
specifically mention tokens."

"The storm copies would literally do nothing, because cascade triggers on cast and the copies are never cast."

There I fixed it.

"Good Mechanics" - Mythic Rare

You may exile target spell. You may copy the exiled spell. If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.
Delve, Scry 5, Cascade, Storm

You may exile target spell. You may cast any spell exiled with Good Mechanics, without paying its mana cost until the end of turn.
Delve, Cascade, Storm
Now it's completely broken. You can just use the storm copies to exile the original and recast it infinitely. It's basically Omniscience and Enter the Infinite in a single card that can be played on turn three even without ramp.

T1: Island
T2: Swamp, Glimpse the Unthinkable on yourself.
T3: Drowned Catacomb, some 1-drop, This (delve for 7), Cascade your entire deck into play, or just dig until you hit Tendrils.

I don't think there's any good way to do Storm and Cascade together on one card. Cascading into a storm card makes a lot more sense.

Damn! And here I was thinking I was so clever.
Besides it didn't have a body anyway.
Maybe this:

Cascadestormer Mage
1U
Creature - Human Wizard
When this comes into play, choose one: spells you cast this turn have cascade, or spells you cast this turn have storm.
2/1

Permanent spells can't have storm.

A small edit, would work:

Cascadestormer Mage
1U
Creature - Human Wizard
When this comes into play, choose one: permanent spells you cast this turn have cascade, or nonpermanent spells you cast this turn have storm.
2/1

Still pretty broken, but slightly less so.

BBBBB

Destroy all creatures. Put that many 2/2 zombie tokens into play.

"Fuck your color pie. Fuck your balance. Fuck you."
- WanderingWindus, Archmagus of Fuck

Oh man, I'd play the shit out of that. But only if they kept the flavor text.

Target player loses the game. You lose the game.

"Why? Because fuck you that's why."

I actually really like this, it makes any player in an edh game a suicide bomber, making politics in the game even more perilous.

That feeling when your opponent Cliques you and draws you into your Pyromancer Acension and you go off that turn with it to win... :D

EDIT: And that feeling when you Gigadrowse your opponent's lands on his EOT and he has to sit back watch you make a dozen goblins while powerless. :D

1684 players for Grand Prix Atlantic City, 10 rounds of swiss today. Crazy numbers.

The Gigadrowse feeling is so good. We used to use that in dragonstorm combo in type 2 when that first broke out and it felt damn good every time.

Destroy all creatures. Draw a card for every creature destroyed this way.

"How could we possibly know this would cause trouble ? Blue our favorite color ? Don't be ridiculous."
- Mark Rosewater, Archmagus of Fuck

Who knows ? I wouldn't put it completely past WotC to push out something like that someday.
Well, they did print Palinchron, so don't give them too much credit just yet.

"Untapping all your lands? How could we possibly know this would cause trouble?"

"Untapping all your lands as a mechanic exclusive to blue? Who could have known this made negative infinity flavor sense?"

Really? I thought they said they were completing the cycle. What a let down.

If thats your biggest let down provided by the set, you are in way better shape than everyone else....

GP AC is a zoo BTW. Took the train in to possibly play some side events, but decided my monies were better spent at the buffet!

Really fun design. Easily could have been 4cc; Endless Ranks of the Dead was 4cc and wasn't even playable, so I don't see why they were scared of the power level of this card to make it 5cc.

If it was 4 mana it'd be playable in some RWx shell. 5 is really bad and completely the opposite of what Boros wants to do. They should be near dead by that point.

I really wish Wizards would stop being so scared of their global enchantments. They always cost them out of being playable.

Why even bother printing enchantments if every single one of them is specifically being priced out of being functional.

I guess it's because only two colors really have reliable, effective ways of dealing with enchantments when they hit the board.

Seems like this set may actually be worth preordering a box for assuming there's at least a few more 8-10 dollar rares unspoiled. Of course I'd trade away Gideon within minutes of opening him.

Yeah, I've been playing the deck since RTR came out and been crushing the local meta since no one ever prepared for it or even faced it before. Now everyone will prepare for it.

Still, glad to see the deck getting results now.

IMO, Hexproof is on the level of Dredge as far as bad mechanics go- if it's involved, it really doesn't feel like Magic. I'm glad they scaled it back after M12, but it really needs to go back to being more of a "Troll-shroud", where its something only green gets on 1-2 creatures a block, not an evergreen ability.
