I would be down. I wouldn't mind doing a casual tournament or something..doesn't have to be completed in a night or even a week, but something to shoot for.

From my experience it's runs exactly like it does on the consoles. Which is amazing since UMVC3 runs like shit half the time.

Hnnnggg those screens look so good. I really want to get a copy when I can game again, but I do want to work on my backlog then. Also, a belated welcome to all the fresh faces
the playstation blogs or this thread are good places to check for ps+ offerings I can make a list if no one else has responded by the time I am done typing this.
As for EU or US PSN+ most people will likely recommend EU plus personally I prefer NA+ because I prefer getting games that I haven't bought and likely wouldn't have bought instead of retail games I bought physically a while back for $5-$10
for just the vita though so far
month one NA won
month two EU had a flawless victory.
I know EU and NA both have Gravity Rush and Uncharted
NA also has Retro City Rampage, Chronovolt, and Final Fantasy Tactics PSP on top of GR and Uncharted, what will be coming for January is currently unknown.
EU has Big Sky Infinity, Mortal Kombat, and Knytt Underground on top of GR and uncharted, and will be getting Jet Set Radio which will replace MK on the 16th and Pinball Arcade which replace knytt on the 23rd
1.) Wow, Unit 13 is some really nice stuff. It's like if Hotline Miami used a third person view and got off the drugs. Some nice variety with how you can go through each mission as well. Also, giving every class a silenced pistol was a good idea on Canceled Studio's part. Are there really only 36 or so missions?
2.) Wipeout 2048 is a really good game. I wish they mixed in the DLC content with the main campaign to add in variety, but it's still neat to have 40 or so tracks. I guess it's the definitive version of Wipeout we'll ever get now that Sony snuffed that studio out. Ugh, such a bummer too, that studio was always good at justifying whatever bullshit gimmick or service Sony thought up.
3.) Call of Duty: Declassified seems more stable now, and basically plays like if Gameloft made the game. Still though, scratches the itch enough that I haven't removed the game from the card slot yet.
4.) You guys need to play Ultimate Ghouls n' Ghosts n' Goblins n' Whatever. The game looks so good on that OLED screen and the gameplay is still top notch. I wanted a Demon's Souls type game on the handheld, but this does the trick quite well.

second keep in mind you can only have one account active on your vita at a time... if you want to change accounts you need to either reformat your memory card or swap in a new card... aka it's a pain to have multiple cards.
Finally persona 4 is available on the Na psn right now as is pretty much every other vita game aside from one or two. it will be available on the EU store in something like a month... not sure on the date and to lazy to look it up right now lol.
So I put my Vita in safe mode. None of the options work. I hit Rebuild database, the vita tells me this could take hours. It starts, then seemingly powers itself off, then i get sony logo, then again, buttons blue, screen is blank. Its like that for every option in safe mode.
I think this vita is fucked.

you can it's just a pain.
on the ps3 you could change accounts download stuff and play that stuff on your main account.
on the vita if you download something to your system your memory card gets tied to that account and can't be switched on that memory card. Thus you need a separate memory card for each account or need to erase everything every time you want to change accounts... there might be a bit more to it, I haven't bothered trying it myself as it sounds like a pain.
Seems to get average reviews and it only have 2 internal slots for games. =(

Finally completed the main story arc of AC3:L. I thought it picked up nicely, also reading the in game character bio's and journal pages helped. Man, the graphics still wow me - populated city, the way the her coat tails react to motion, selfshadowing, decent to sharp textures, beautiful lighting...
Wish more people gave the game a chance, beyond the tutorial. Its a fantastic feeling, playing a full up AC game, on a damn handheld. Mindblown.
Buy Sonic Racing Transformed. Great, great, great game. Almost visually identical toconsole, minus some lighting/shaders. Rented the 360 version amd was blown away by how close Vita edition comes, especially the carrier level.

Try again if that dont work Call Sony see what they say, if that dont work get a replacement from the place you bought it from. I had my vita lock up on me once and i couldnt get it to respond very similar to what your describing.Using the safe mode with rebuilding database got it working again and never happened again. Usually that fixes it and if it doesnt then it looks like its defective. Anyone else have any suggestions or ideas?
I somewhat agree. I was a bit disappointed with the main campaign. I only played the main mission and completely ignored the collectibles and side missions. But when i started the trophy run i fell in love with the game. The amount of missions and collectibles is insane. And doing them is so much fun. My only gripe is the frame rate drop and a bit buggy combat! Pop In I can deal since I experience it also on PC AC game even with an awesome rig. Lets hope we get a sequel with better frame rate and native res. They can get rid of a bit frivolous stuff like those stupid light puzzles and letters!

Instead of rebuild database, he should try to re-install the firmware. It sounds like it got corrupted during the install.

No, there's no multiple profile options but you can switch accounts deactivating Vita and reactivating it with new account you need to use then switching back to original one. You need two memory cards, one for each account.

I thought this was the case that said you could put 2 in each slot so you'd have 4. I have a 32gb memory card and only own 2 cartridges, black ops and umvc3, umvc3 stays in the vita.

What games are not available? All Vita games are available digitally.
i know it's been mentioned in this thread some throw away like racing game isn't actually on the psn. I don't know the title of it, and it's not going to break anyone's heart that it is missing. but in general vita games are available digitally if they are available physically.
If there was one.... obviously, it's not worth the trouble. The only problem games i can think of are the PSP ones from developers that hated the PSPgo adopters.... however badly the system sold. If SE had put either Birth by sleep or Crisis Core on the online store..........
I think the better question to pay attention to is not what vita games aren't available digitally, but what games aren't cheaper digitally.
Yeah...I'm pretty sure they all are available. Even the crappy ones.

the list of games that are cheaper digitally would be miles shorter than the list that aren't cheaper digitally, at least in the usa. Heck there might not be a single game that I couldn't find cheaper physically than digitally right now since there aren't any vita games on sale on the psn that have physical releases.

Ps3, 360 and wiiU are all the same. Considering most online platforms let you see and 'friend' people you bump into online and enjoy playing with, I think they definitely need to up the limit, or add a wider 'acquaintances' list - like the wiiU has 1000 followers. As long as you can kick off MP games and compare times etc

I am positively surprised by Vita MK. Never would have bought it since I can't stand fighters like this nowdays but got it free from plus. There actually is a lot of single player content to enjoy and the story mode is actually kind of good despite being absolutely ridicilous unsurprisingly :lol. It reminds me of the silly MK movies 
. Runs smooth and it isn't THAT bad looking. I just don't know why the colors of the characters are so muted down, that is my primary complain especially with dat OLED. I quess this isn't crossplay tho? Online threw me to the same 5 players over and over again that just kicked my ass!
Big Sky Infinity is also pretty good game that I got from plus. I just absolutely haaaaaate the trophy design tho. You are supposed to defeat all 4 bosses on a single run of classic mode but the fact that the games encounters are totally randomized makes it almost impossible. I can encounter the same boss over and over again without the others spawning. Also one of the bronze throphies need absolutely insane amounts of grinding on a game that really is not made for that. I hate poorly designed trophies on games that I like

So now I am finishing up MK story mode and challenges, playing Alundra and Resident Evil Directors Cut. Advanced mode Jill looks ugly ;(. Did 105% run of Crash 3. The game is absolutely gorgeous on vita and plays great! You guys should riot for not having it vita compatible in US!

Do you have to format the card? I though you could keep multi region stuff on one card, you just couldn't access it, unless they add that in a FW update (I haven't bothered with region switching for ages now)
You don't have to deactivate the vita, just factory reset and log in with the new account. Takes a couple of minutes and you lose all your settings like how your bubbles are laid out etc.
TBH if you're coming in fresh, I'd try to avoid it if possible.
update 1.8 locked the memory cards to a single account.
this seems to be a guide for switching accounts off of ign.
as I said earlier though I can't be bothered to do it myself. there isn't anything on the EU store to make it worth the effort for me and I don't speak japanese well enough to care about the japanese store.
on a different note I don't know if I will be able to get past the end of chapt 11 on story mode of MK

I'm a bit confused about the reception of (the Vita version of) this one. I'm interested in getting the game on some platform or other, and if the Vita port was good I'd obviously prefer that because of portability and.. uh, well.. VITA POWER!! But there are very few professional reviews specifically of the Vita versions, and the feedback on forums is extremely divisive - some people saying, just like you are, that it's a great port that is, for all intents and purposes, up to the level of the console versions, and other people saying that it's got horrible framerate drops and 3DS style graphics.
Could we maybe get additional opinions from the ever-reliable VitaGAFers to settle this issue?
I'm taking it back. As I said before, every option is the same result. It says its going to do it, the screen goes black, the vita restarts. If I try installing firmware from pc or ps3. it just tells me to conect a usb cable, which I do. I click ok, and it brings me back to safe mode.
Fucking pissed, spent a lot of time debating on getting this or not. Feels shitty having to look at my faulty vita, instead of play games on it =\

It's amazing.
Had some frame rate issues at launches but they have since been fixed in a patch. It has lots and lots of content and a full online suite. Good trophies. Good controls. Great track design.
It's the best portable kart racer since mario kart DS
Yeah it sounds like a pain. I will stick to one account and save the hassle of juggling memory cards.
