i had a large rant like 7 posts before yours, but anyways they change 1-2 games a month at the end of a month though gravity rush and uncharted will likely be around until at least e3.

edit: gah top of the page and I can't check to see what psp games are actually on the vita so uh.....
if you like spaceship shooters get sine mora... it looks sexy on the vita.
 
Just some quick thoughts on escapeVektor - I've put about 3 hours into it so far, and it's the best arcade-style game I've played on Vita. Soundtrack's dope, too.

Sorry I missed your post. Read it now and yeah that sounds like a pretty good deal to me. $17 for 3 months. Will be subscribing when I get my Vita.

Sine Mora looks great. Can't believe I hadn't heard of it until now. Thanks.

there is a demo on the psn so you could give that a try first to make sure you like it ^^.

I concur, I played the original "episode 1" on WiiWare, and it was superb. Planning to pick up the full version, just haven't decided between 3DS or Vita yet.

And is it just me but didn't there used to be a Rayman Origins demo on the EU PSN? I can't remember if I got it from the US PSN.
 
I think I found the Eva Hard Case on the Danish eBay. I'm definitely gonna get that tomorrow.

But I'll jump to the rival for a moment guys, gonna play some more Ocarina of Time 3D.
 
Got a VITA 3 Days ago... Loving it...

Bought BlazBlue and Need For Speed Most Wanted ... Loving blazblue.. Jin Kisaragi is a boss :D . Yet to indulge properly in NFS, but i'll get there.

I imported Persona 4 Golden (because i'm impatient and the Shipping nearly cost more than the game itself :O), i hope i dont regret it dropping so much money on it)... Many people told me P4G is worth the vita purchase alone.... so we will see :D

Also Got PS+, Jet Set Radio is just as awesome as i remembered it.. bit hard to control though. i just need to practice.

Also... I Really want the star ocean games for psp on the store, so i can have them on my vita.. what do you think the chances of that happening are? :(

I have that one I love it. Before buying the vita i looked into the cases aswell and this was the best one imo. Its a hard case and cant be crushed into the vita like some other hard cases that would collapse if pushed down, potentially destroying the sticks. It Holds a few games and a memory card. It protects from all sides so no dust can get in. Very Sturdy/well built. Plus it looks awesome.

The vita fits in perfectly snug and doesn't move at all. Had a psp case that exposed the psp i think it was a logitech case, i hated it for this reason and others. Plus i decided to use a ps move strap on it and i can still use the case with the strap hanging out and it will still close. It actually makes it easier to remove from the case =)

Amazing case i highly recommend it.

I was looking at cases also before I bought my Vita, and no one mentioned this case. I went to a Best Buy and randomly bought it. I was specifically looking for a hard case and I love it. Plus it looks great as well.

That strap is also a good idea. Thanks.

It's a hardcase very similar to my Hori 3DS LL case. It's a bit bigger than it needs to be (height wise) but I guess you could pack earphones in there if you wanted to. It has slots for game cards also. Anyway, for $4 you can't go wrong.

Get 3 packs of the extra life+bomb utilities, use life first if you get close, then bomb if it will put you over 5k\current record. As far as I can tell the gadgets to use would be the Dezapinator and Turbo Boost. Not missing vehicles is important once you're over 3k or so. Staying mid screen is probably best, ignore coins. Other than that, it's extremely luck based, whether it's getting easy obstacles or getting revived\pushed forward by the slot machine.

The game is pretty overrated imo. Extremely transparently trying to addict its players with the mission system, which is annoyingly effective and I'm sure a lot of time was spent finetuning it. It just seems like a compromised version of that Helicopter flash game I liked a decade ago with added superfluities. Also — Vita specific complaint — why would you not support buttons?

What potential positives would you have on 3DS over Vita?
 
True story: I never turn the 3D slider down from max (except in very rare circumstances)


PS: I don't even know why I'm having this conversation. It's a good game. Buy it. Who fucking cares about the platform.

Everyone's different, I guess. I can play for hours on end in 3D and it's perfectly fine. Great, even!

Buying a Wii U nets me enough to get the Original Game Boy Tetris. It's better than nothing, but by a very miniscule amount.

Club Nintendo. Get some Hanafuda cards for the nerd factor, then bail out.

Personally I don't even get the free games, lol (usually). I like the memorabilia more. I'm a Nintendo fan, though.

edit: Hardware isn't the most effective way to get coins anyway. I buy tons of games, most of them for cheaper than MSRP, so I get Platinum status every year pretty easily.
 
Talking of looking at screens, I can look at Rayman Origins all day. All day.
