Given the lower quality players at SCG events, I suspect most are going to look at the last GP and copy that. Expect lots of bant hexproof, so enchant removal and board sweeps are going to be good.

Id personally run some 2-3 kessig malcontents in there instead of the nobles, and throw in somepillar of flames instead

Kessig malcontents has saved me a shitton, and ive run a oretty similar deck to the one hes using. Also, there on,y needs to be 3 thalias, as it gets redundant if you get 2 at one time.

What would be the best aproach to sell these kind of cards? i'd rather avoid ebay etc for obvious reasons.

So i scanned my imperial recruiter, what do you guys think the condition is? the back has some little scuffs on the bottom, but imo the front looks good enough. No discoloring of any kind.

Looks like an EX/VF to me, but I a lot of sellers would pass that off as NM-. In my experience buying/trading online, "NM" is a very loose grading.

I was going to say EX+. Looks like the only part on the card that is not NM is the very bottom on the back and the lower quarter. Really wish I had an Imperial Recruiter

Yes, but not because it taps for red. The land type on Steam Vents includes "Island" and "Mountain". So for instance, if you had a Shivan Coast out instead (another land that taps for blue and red), you wouldn't be able to because it doesn't include "Mountain" in the land type.

Well, yes, but not the way you describe it. Steam Vents say Island Mountain. Without that designation in specific, Root Bound Craig doesn't work because it needs to find "Mountain" not "land that taps for red mana."

No, you have to pay once per trigger. Otherwise it would be amazing.

It would have to be instant because it specifically says attacking creature. Most abilities on cards are instant speed unless stated otherwise.

So the UWR "Geist of St. Win" deck took down the latest Modern GP in Bilbao. The only interesting thing in the top 16 was seeing a Scapeshift deck splashing black for Clutch of the Undercity (I assume to tutor for Scapeshift) and Slaughter Games in the board. Otherwise it was almost entirely Pod and Jund in the top 16.
