Is that Kane? Holy fuck he looks so goddamned lame nowadays...

You must have not seen Kane's 2012.

Like, every time I think I have a handle on how bad Cena is, he's in another ridiculous feud where he acts like an asshole while supposedly being a hero, or he kicks out of a million finishers to bury an opponent with one of his, or he comes out and does another terrible promo where he yells nonsensical things as if he's preaching for no reason.

WWE isn't great, but even so he's an absolute blight that turns everything he touches to shit.

So what, Kanes a straight up playboy now??

What happened to the rumors of Rock V Lesnar for WM?? Dont really keep up but i remember hearing this a while back?

That id pay to see.

Agreed.

And he's such a corporate yes man i feel like he doesnt realize how he's booked sometimes is bad for business.

Take the cage match with Ziggler, who did that help? He has the pull to change shit like that, and he should have.

The Rock would have lost that match, I have no doubt about that. Him letting himself getting destroyed by the shield without OVERCOMING THE ODDS shows he still does whats good for business.

It's also why I dont think him losing to punk is that unpossible.

On another wrestling community where I used to post, I offered the theory that John Cena is a massive egotist. He won't turn heel because he loves the idea of little kids worshipping him like Superman, he won't go out of his way to help younger talent because he enjoys his position, and that when he does the shit he does in promos to other stars because he's an asshole and knows he can get away with it.

Everyone shot me down, but I still believe that the man is just a massive egoed tool.

I hope it's sub-zero and blizzard conditions. Just for the spectacle of it all.
I'd expect a comedy bit where two wrestlers get frozen together mid-match.

They better hope it doesn't snow during the event, Cena will get pelted with snowballs when he pins the Rock

The way he buries other gimmicks, like for instance Alberto Del Rio's, is one example he has some major ego issues going on. He was also mentioned as wanting NOT to lose any matches from from late 2011 up to his main event match with The Rock at Wrestlemania. It will hurt his value, it will make people think of the match less, whatever. It's bullshit. He is one of the handful of guys who can lose for the next three months non stop and not be impacted at all. Guys like Orton, Punk, Rey, Kane, and the Big Show are the same way. Kane, Rey, and Show notably because they're long time vets and they can still hold a position and make it work no matter his W/L the past year - Jericho was the same. But these guys have been on the top so long they're untouchable in terms of letting other guys make them look weak and losing a spot. They're never going to lose their spot, although Orton is in a twirl because of his suspensions. Other than that, they are locks. Why they haven't pushed more talent to the main event and actually stuck with them is primary reason why they are constantly bringing back older guys for bigger ratings and trying to increase buy-rates. We shouldn't see Triple H and Taker, for instance, time after time, especially if they're going to show up few dates a year and run a match every six to twelve months. They need new stars, and it's their own fault for taking so long to create them.

THANK YOU!

The ADR thing was the one I was thinking about specifically when I posted this (and in that other community). Like, just breaking the fourth wall and shitting on your gimmick directly. I hated it. But the WWE refuses to take risks with their talent and continue to sell Cena because kids freaking LOVE him for some reason. It's weird. They use the whole Hulk Hogan thing as a comparison, but 80s/90s Hulk oozed charisma. I can go back and watch his old stuff and see why it worked so well. John Cena is completely manufactured, and that's why he bothers me so much. I know I'm setting myself up, but it's going to hurt if (when) he wins the Rumble to set up Rock/Cena II. Please, please let me be wrong about this.

F this company big time if that happens.

I don't think that will happen. The Rock would win again otherwise and Cena (suffering the biggest loss ever, AGAIN) would shrug it off with that grin of his and go back to making jokes and ruining promos.

I dislike Cena. Lets hope he doesn't force his way into yet another feud.

I still dream of a WM where literally nothing happens. All the fans packed into their seats, waiting for the show to kickoff, but nothing. 4-5 hours of nothing.

It would be the biggest swerve in history.

Nope, that's exactly what is going to happen. Cena is winning the Rumble, beating the Rock for the belt to "get his win back", and probably won't lose a match until close to Summerslam. This is all to counterbalance his awful 2012, for which he was named superstar of the year......this company

My other dream WM? 4-5 hours of Kane sitting in the ring reading a newspaper, and giving his thoughts on what he reads.

"Oh, look at that, it says that it'll snow tomorrow. I should wear a hat."

Nope just 4 hours of him setting various household objects on fire and jotting down how fast they burn and how big the flames get. He will give a little nod whenever the flames get taller than himself. The highlight will be when Vince rolls on down the ramp, gets set on fire, and Kane makes a "You're fired" pun.

I see Kane and D Bryan losing the Tag Team Titles. Hopefully Team Hell No (friendship) start up a nice feud with Rhode Scholars which escalates into Kane growing a beard.

I just want to add how stupid it is to put the word "Team" in front of your tag team name. We already know you're on a team. That's what a tag team is. A FUCKING TEAM.

I'm not sure why this bothers me so much.

He had a goatee when he returned. He should have kept it, and used this as an excuse to grow a full beard.

Great idea, btw.

That's right, they named him fucking superstar of the year.

For what? Other than being named John Cena?

His biggest 2012 accomplishments were losing to the Rock and getting his ass kicked for a while by Brock Lesnar.

Maybe, I don't know, give it to the guy who has held your top title for the entirety of the year?

I did have a hunch that Cena would finally turn heel to beat the Rock at WM. But it's probably more wishful thinking than anything. Wish it would happen though :(

Yep it was a big injustice him winning it over Punk. I hope sooner or later two or three wrestlers team out to put a stop to things happening like that.

Team Road Warriors
Team Hart Foundation
Team Demolition
Team Steiner Bros.
Team Outsiders
Team Mega Powers

Yeah, it's awful. I don't like wrestlers combining their names to look different, either. I think Air Boom was okay given their style.

Indeed. Hogan had python power and Hulkamania, Cena has jean shorts and a bad Marky Mark impression.

While Cena winning RR is pretty much a lock at this point, I hope bork interferes in the match and eliminates Cena as revenge for losing last year.

Cena vs Bork II at WM

If Cena gets eliminated, Ryback is probably gonna win this year D:

i havent watched Raw in three weeks. I am failing the WWE Universe. here is a gif in apology. I dont know who it is. but its wrestling.

You know, in regards to Cena, I never thought he was a Hogan style egomaniac. You never really hear guys bitching about him or throwing his weight around to veto angles or jobbing. But he's a guy who clearly has pretty much free reign in his promos and all of them involve him shitting all over his opponent in a meta, non storyline sense that makes them look terrible. All of his loses in the past few years have been like Hogan's loss to Warrior. Gets pinned, immediately gets up and hogs the spot light, and is still the main focus of shows. Hogan was actually on TV way more from WM6-Summerslam than he was before and a solid 80% more than Warrior was. Everything after WM6 wasn't about how Warrior was the new champion, but about how/if/when Hogan could recover and come back. Warrior's win was inconsequential. It could have been anyone. It was all about Hogan losing instead of someone beating Hogan.

That's what happens every time Cena loses. Ziggler could pin Cena clean 3 times in a row and the story would be "what's next for John Cena" not "what's next for Dolph Ziggler".
