I also have the best idea for a surprise return at the royal rumble.

THE SHOCK MASTER

I hope Cena wins.

If he doesn't win, that means he has had a terrible 2012 and also has to face another big failure. The only way forward from there is to get his reputation back by taking on the biggest challenge left in wrestling at WM. .... and winning.

Be careful what you wish for.

I haven't followed wrestling in a few months, but is Cena seriously tipped to win it for a WM spot I presume?

He has to do something big at WM, that goes without saying.

Most people expect him to face the Rock again. For this to happen, the Rock winning the title vs CM Punk and Cena being able to challenge because of his Rumble win makes the most sense (ie least amount of thought). It gets the rematch plus it is even bigger because of the title.

The other option seems to be CM Punk winning and the Rock entering and winning the rumble so he can get his revenge at WM.

I do want to see Cena take on The Streak, if only because 'Taker has never really taken on the "top guy" at WM yet.

Ryback wins the Rumble.

Cena costs Rock the WWE title match.

Ryback vs Punk for the title at Mania
Rock vs Cena in a non title match.

Done and done.

I miss the days where crazy scenarios played out at the Elimination Chamber PPV to completely shake up the WrestleMania card.

Like Edge wrestling in two chamber matches and multiple title changes taking place.

Cena is facing Rock for the WWE Title at Mania. Winning the Rumble isn't necessarily the way he will do it however. Cena doesn't need to win The Rumble to face Cena at Mania. He could win a #1 contenders Elimination Chamber match in Feb for example instead.

Do something to make Del Rio go away from Ziggler, put Ziggler against Sheamus at Mania. Play up the whole "oh well last year he won the title in 18 seconds!" thing.

Rumor is Orton is Turning Heel and it's going to be Sheamus-Orton at Mania.

I could see Ziggler being the first one to cash in at Mania. They have already planned to do that twice and scrapped it both times. That's about the only new thing they can do with MITB. That would be the best way to steal the show. As opposed to how he stole the show last year by being in a 40 person tag match for 3 seconds and eating a Rough Rider that had slightly more height then usual.

I don't hang out in WrestleGAF (I should), but I've been a fan for quite awhile. Stopped watching in like September but came back the past couple of weeks for RAW. The rumble always gets me hyped.

I have to be honest with you. A Dolph Ziggler Undisputed WWE Champion run would probably be one of the best things that could happen to shake up the WWE right now, and I'd love every second of it. Give him a good legit heel reign where he still keeps his muscle (Big E), but just pulls out legit wins during main event matches. They'd finally be able to use him properly and I think he'd go over quite a bit this way.

The sooner Ryback is off my television, the better. I seriously can't believe this thing picked up steam. He's TERRIBLE.

The only surprise entrant I want to see at the Rumble this year is Mark Henry.

I'm okay with either Punk or Rock winning, but I don't want Cena anywhere near the WWE championship. Though I'd be kidding myself if I honestly thought we weren't going to get Twice in a Lifetime at Mania. :/

"My Time" is HHH's best theme by far, and easily one of the best wrestling themes in general. It's so good. Much better than the Motorhead stuff.

Um... I think that's all I've got right now.

cenawinslol :(

They should give Ziggler the RR win, and let him challenge for both the WWE and WHC titles at WM. Use it as a vehicle to re-unify the belts, since the Brand Extension is effectively over at this point.

If Ziggler cashes in at WM does he announce it beforehand like Bryan was going to do? Or does he just do a normal cash in. Because if that's the case, who cares if it's at Mania or not? The only thing that would make it cool is if Ziggler cashed in ala Royal Rumble winner and actually had a feud that led up to the match at Mania.

If Mark Henry enters the Rumble, it has to build Henry vs Ryback or Big E. or a triple threat.
Mark Henry vs. Ryback vs. Big E vs. Bork Laser vs. I Need to Take a Big Show in the first-ever Ring Implosion Match.

We've seen ring implosions. But never as a match winning stipulation gimmick.
First person to implode the ring with an offensive move on their opponent wins.

Love and hate the thread title at the same time. Hate because I can't believe I'm gonna be blowing $300 just to watch a bunch of rematches. Cena/Rock II, HHH/Lesnar II, Punk/Undertaker II/III/who knows how many times they already fought zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And then just to rub it in I bet WM30 will have Punk/Austin, Undertaker's last match, a world title unification match and all the other shit I was hoping to see this year.

I'm still sticking with (read: hoping) that Undertaker is a surprise entrant in the Rumble. He wins. Punk beats the Rock. It's streak vs. streak at Wrestlemania. Undertaker wins the belt and retires with it the next night on RAW, and they do a Bound for Glory style tournament for it.

It'll never happen, but I wish it would.

There's only one solid reason Cena might not win.

Doesn't have to. He will be shoehorned into the title/main event regardless. Giving him the simple Rumble win would just waste away a push for someone else. Just like Jericho last year.

But because of the possible triple main event at WM29 there's only 2 logical choices.
- Cena
- Another WHC squash

Of course they can throw a curve ball with Taker or Bork but i doubt it.

WWE isnt afraid of putting off a push for someone else just to push Cena.

Remember a few months ago where they gimped the MITB match for Cena so instead of it being a bunch of young high flyers taking risks it was Cena vs 4 super heavy guys who couldn't do shit.

Havent really watched since the attitude era. Watched WM last year.

If the Rock wins, and then loses to Cena at WM i will officially never watch wrestling ever again.

Chris Benoit was a great wrestler. His personal shit on the other hand... well, we all know about that.
