Found the cancellation notice from DR in my spam folder this morning. All I wanted was a damn Drippy plush! Haha. I guess it's not all bad because it means no more waiting and I can just go out and buy the game today.

worst part is they already charged my paypal. so now i have to wait for the payments to get refunded, if they ever get refunded.

Click on the check by reference tab and just put your order number in. Going by track by number didn't work for me.

Can someone tell me how to hyperlink a url into a word for future reference?

On the left, you will see "Track by Number"
Under that is "Track by Reference". Click that.
In the "Shipment Reference" spot, put your Namco Bandai/Digital River order number.
 
Sorry to all the folks that got screwed on this. My version is out for delivery today but...still. I've been playing a normal edition currently waiting for it. I might just keep the wizard edition sealed at this point. Not sure. If for some reason I sell it, I'll post it on GAF.

Put your order number in the shipment reference box and then hit track. At least that's what I've been doing. No tracking label for me yet though so I could be doing it wrong or I just don't have a shipping label created yet.

i wish i chose 1-2 day shipping method, i may have better chance than this awful situation , not to mention when refunding the money the difference in local currency rates gonna cost me some money T_T

Still no shipping nor "order canceled" e-mail. I've check spam folder too. Payment has been charged, but not gone through yet.

My order was from the original Ninostarter batch. Sigh...

I've been avoiding your livestreams on this - I don't think it'd help my wait on the WE.

At this point, I wish I'd gone with ground shipping, especially since I'm close to TN. Seems like everyone that's had theirs shipped went with ground.

EDIT: Looks like a lot of next-days were shipped too. So, I guess just 2-day sucks.

The amount of time you'd have to invest in doing that is probably worth the brokerage fee anyway, it's a moot point now.

For me it is also not worth it. My estimate is $55. But I would need to find transportation and maybe a friend to help me with speaking. It's not a big money loss. I'm going to take this as a $55 lesson on not trusting American merchants to care about international customers.

But I thought I'd link anyway in case someone feels it is worth their time. It's also a nice thing to learn if you have future UPS shipments.

I went next day air and its in my town on the ups truck out for delivery. Think it is just completely random at this point.
 
You can try to clear it yourself to avoid the brokerage fee if you have a CBSA office close to you.

Yeah. I think I had next day since it shipped yesterday and is due today. I can't beleive I ordered it back when I did! Game is great though imo so far. I plan on doing update thoughts on youtube per how many hours played. Honestly, I've been thinking of doing a skit on this fiasco. Perhaps you can use this as comedy in one of your episodes! :D

I selected 3-day select and a shipping label was created yesterday. So maybe I will see it on Monday.
 
Just called them again today to make sure I would be told the same thing as last night (that I was getting it). Turns out the lady yesterday lied and I'm not getting it.

Can we get an online petition to shut these clowns down?

So when are you shipping?

That's not a cancellation email I hope?

I've never done it myself (for reasons I mentioned in previous posts). But this is how I understand it works:

You would have to clear it with the CBSA as soon as you can. You need to get the paperwork done before UPS reaches the border and both UPS and the CBSA need to know you plan to do this yourself. Then you'll only pay duties and taxes and avoid the brokerage fee.

There are 2 ways UPS can charge you.
The most common way is to charge you C.O.D. at your door. They won't give you the package until you pay. Another way (if they leave the box or something when you're not home) is you'll get a bill in the mail some time later. But at this stage it is already too late to do it yourself.


EDIT: I see someone above mentioned there is possibly no brokerage fee? Are there details on this? UPS Standard has brokerage fees on anything valued over $20. So the only way is if Digital River has it sent to their Canadian office or something, who pays for the fees, and then it gets sent from there to us.

I've been following the Namco forums and according to this thread there are no brokerage fees for Canadians.
Seems people say it's confirmed. I wish there were more details but that lets me relax a little more. Thank you very much for this information and link khaaan.

While this has still been a disaster, it does improve my view of Digital River slightly. I am still unhappy about the lack of updates and the cancellations though. That is really poor service.

That's the problem with outsourcing customer service. For all we know, any and all information given by them could be completely false and made-up.

Still no shipping label created or an email confirming one way or the other. It's maddening to just not know if I'm getting it or not. I'm expecting the worst but I feel like everyone who ordered while they allowed it deserve their WE. Especially when there's an exchange of money.

I woke up to no changes on my tracking. It's still sitting somewhere in a dungeon, while my bf's order is leaving TN and heading to FL. We both have it set to arrive tomorrow. T_T

mine left TN headed to Louisiana today. i just hope that they drop it off after 4pm fml if it sits there around 2pm for a couple of hours letting everyone see a box just sitting there on the front the door lol.
