Like I'm seriously confused?

What exactly is WWE going to do when Rock and Cena are done?

They keep having Cena bury all their talent, and they bring back the old dudes to main event Wrestlemania. They are sabotaging themselves for the future.

this is what happens when you dont have any break out talent in 10 years. The old guard is about gone (hhh, hbk, taker, rock, austin, etc) and the start of the new guard (angle, jericho, edge, christian, hardys, benoit, guerrero, batista) never really amounted to much or got hurt/left/died. Basically they have Punk, and Cena, but I feel Cena is another major injury away from retirement. Then they are truly fucked.

Is that Karl Anderson in a title match?

I think you have my money, NJPW.

Indeed it is! A well deserved singles main event for Karl, and it should be a great one too. Anderson & Tanahashi are tied 2 for 2 in singles competition, and Tanahashi has teased that he'll debut a new finisher as Anderson has proved he can consistently catch Tanahashi out of the High Fly Flow frogsplash into his Gun Stun ace crusher :)

Really looking forward to this show, as I'm a big fan of Anderson from his PWG days. Also, TenKoji vs KES should be awesome. Who would have thought that Harry Smith & Lance Hoyt would be so much better away from the WWE?

It's possible to take a break from it all. I've done it for 3-4 years.
Missed Punk Reign and Cena v Rock
Today was the first time I actually got interested in what was happening in WWE.

After awhile you just say fuck it.

I seriously hope the people attending WM29 boo both Rock and Cena and do nothing but chant for Punk or Bryan all night. It's pretty likely to happen too considering the hardcore crowd that usually attends.

Yeah, I have to question the decision to have a champ that won't be on the show live and in person every week and have him redo a feud that culminates in a match that the NJ/NY MSG crowd will shit all over.

Here's a summary of Punk's title reign:

Beats a bunch of jobber heels. Some awesome matches with Daniel Bryan. Turns Heel, cheats and DQs a bunch of jobbers. Cena. Gets beaten by a part-timer's elbow.

It's not quite that bad, but this is what happens when you have a company that is so screwed up that not only is your champion not considered your "top guy", but you won't even let him beat your "top guy" for over 14 months. And then you bring back a top guy from ten to fifteen years ago and have him beat the champion so he can give the championship back to your "top guy".

It really is sad that the WWE has made their product into John Cena & the Pips.

It is because they have hitched their trailer to the Cena Express that they have been handicapped in booking WMs.

Because the entire company is built around him, he has to be involved in every single one and main event in them as well.

Every single other wrestler has a throwaway gimmick. (to be fair, John Cena is basically Bug Bunny)

WWE lost all their drive when they killed their competition (wCw). It's not even just the Attitude Era stuff. There were overall better gimmicks and more main eventers.

Taker, HHH, Stone Cold, HBK, Rock, Foley...could all be interchangeable and main event WM and make the show less reliant on one specific guy.

WWE has put them selves into a bad corner. If Cena leaves the Company or dies, they will be in a world of hurt.

yep I honestly haven't watched regularly since before hbk retired flair. and I haven't missed much, I just buy old school dvd releases, and watch shoot interviews about the old days. The new product just sucks.

Also, your "top guy" gets booed by most of the crowd, and is booed from the building at WM, and is only your top guy because you physically forced him to be.

Well Rock is pretty much signed on to work virtually every Raw from now to Mania. He also agreed to work the Elimination Chamber PPV. Having live events without a WWE champion is pretty silly though.

Really good show. A shame people are going to hate it. But hey, what is the use of me complaining about it again.

That whole PPV was so safe. So boring. So bland. No way that was a "good show," have standards fallen so low?

Luckily I no longer depend on the WWE to give me any kind of enjoyment and watch purely out of habit so I'm not scarred after tonight's events. Just disappointed, yet again, that they managed to find the most boring solutions possible.

Ok we have Rock vs Cena.

Punk vs Taker.

What the hell is Lesner doing?

No Triple H jokes please. He is old, fat and lost his power when he cut his hair.

Maybe tomorrow they'll reveal that the shield didn't interfere and reverse the decision and keep Punks reign going? Right guys?

.........a fuckin' People's Elbow.

Anyone interested in quitting should..

1. Quit (obviously)
2. Forget to tune into Raw and Smackdown
3. Skim through results on any wrestling news website later in the week.
4. Roll your eyes and sigh
5. Get on with your day

Optional

6. Watch old WWF videos from the Attitude Era and reminisce.

You're in denial if you think HHH isn't going to beat Brock.

We're probably also getting Orton vs Sheamus.

Maybe Bryan/Kane vs Shield, Ryback vs Big Show, and Del Rio vs Ziggler.

Guys, don't get your hopes up for Dwayne showing up with a re-designed belt. He's just keeping it warm for a couple of months until he gives it to Cener.

I walked for miles inside this pit of danger.
I've swallowed down a thousand years of anger.
The weight of the world is falling on my shoulders.
A place where no one follows me I walk alone

What would be better ? Rock Cena 2 will be a huge draw. Sure it was what I expected ,but still the best decisions. The Main Event, The Rumble, and the last man standing were good matches, especially the main event.

They also need to separate Paul and Punk so Paul can return to being Lesner's full time mouth piece.

I do not think a Punk/Brock team is going to happen.

Maybe they go Rock vs Cena vs Punk and Lesner vs Taker with HHH as the ref?

The thing is, the likes of Rock/Cena II so Cena can have the biggest win on the biggest stage so he can...be Cena some more is the kind of thing that would legitimately make me stop watching.

I won't stop watching because people I am attached to and whose careers I want to follow are in WWE, that being the likes of Daniel Bryan (I will not be happy until he is given the WWE title, no one in the company deserves it more), Antonio Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Wade Barrett, all the terrific guys in NXT, and even guys like Alberto Del Rio have me invested now.

I quit watching for five years, from 2005 to 2010. That was because no one was really drawing me to the program, I was bored of it, so I let it go and vaguely kept up with major events and watched a Rumble here and there, and some WM. I looked back in at the start of 2011, but what got me truly hooked was CM Punk's Summer of Punk II. It sure as shit wasn't John Cena!

This endless push of Cena is actually suffocating for the product. They have all these great guys that I want to follow, but this shadow of Cena kills the potential love for the product.

This isn't quitting lol!

If they were gonna go with the Rock winning route, I wish they at least made it interesting by flipping the Shield attack. Would it have hurt for Punk to hit the GTS and then Shield to power bomb him through the table as defiance for what he said on SmackDown? At least it would have added some intrigue into this otherwise bland night.

So, if things go as predicted, what we learn is that HHH and Cena will never ever let anyone go over them. Even when they do, they don't.

I'm thinking they never intended to do anything with a Ziggler title reign, hence why he still hasn't cashed in. He is the White Kofi Kingston.

Anyways, the Daniel Bryan/Kane bit was so good. Crowd was all into Bryan and Jericho, and even Punk moreso than the Rock.

I don't care about what draws in casual fans that come back for one night. The rest of the year I want quality programming. The WWE is like watching someone ELSE watch paint dry. The main event was weak, the rumble was a waste of time, and the last man standing was as cookie cutter as it could've been. Bleh to all of it.
