ST seems to be done, if there are grounds for the Illuminati to tell people to hold off from donating to it. Seen rumors on SRK concerning credit card theft, probably BS but I can't see any positive outcome from it.

Thing is, Smash community has fought back to anyone temporarily rising above their amount, pretty consistently over the course of the donation drive. I still have the most faith in them to do what it takes unless some ludicrous left field bid occurs for one of the other games.

Yeah, it's interesting how it rose that high in one day. I would have expected as much (if it's true but maybe it is BS). Highly doubt any one single person would want to donate that much just for one game to appear at EVO. On the other hand, if it was ST community effort, their community correspondence to pump in money all at once in a single time frame would have to have been very secretive for no one to notice anything. Doesn't seem likely that would have happened either.
