Planking involves hitting the opponent once and turning invincible til time runs out 8 minutes later. It probably shouldn't be acceptable in competitive play, it makes the game unplayable after all.

Huge Street Fighter fan but Super Turbo has been done to death. Skullgirls would have been good but I'm not opposed to smash just for morbid curiosity. Anything better than something that's not gonna bring anything new to the table.

It's counterable by SOME of the characters in the roster. Olimar, for example, can't really do a single thing about it. Not even against DK.

Too bad we didn't have more support from Japanese players since it hasn't had an official release in Japan.

I kinda feel like Skullgirls could have a chance. Smash has slowed down a bit and Skullgirls is still going pretty strong. Of course, snipes can happen, and, well, anything can happen. I wouldn't entirely count Skullgirls out just yet though.
