Hasn't said anything about it recently, though I'd hope that bringing in the Tekken team means he's trying to take the competitive side of it more seriously. We'll see when more stuff about SSB4 emerges.

Nah, but seriously I wish/hope someone would pass this his way so he and his crew get a second opinion on how people support Melee all this time later. They're nothing saying he won't go against his anti-competitive stance currently for Smash 4 (since no one even knows what form it's in outside of him and Namco-Bandai) but the precedents are still strong.
