I think he is talking about the last batch of people from ND and from Irrational. Nobody know what studios they are at.

It'll still be here in full force when they do, which is the sad partAnd then you realized that they brought it on themselves with their actions (or lack of!) in the last few years. You can't blame anyone at all for being skeptical. If they bring the goods people will be quiet.
Two irrational guys are working for the core publishing team, one is a producer on multiple projects and the other is doing techical stuff.Ryse was always said to be some sort of hybrid game using the Kinect and controller, recent rumors have it as a "better with Kinect" game.
Was it ever stated which studios the naughty Dog and Irrational guys MS hired are going to? I don't remember them stating they were for 343I.
Not to devalue what is sure to be an extremely used and quality gif, but this thread is less "Xbox vs. Playstation" and more "shitting in a thread with inane and unneeded cynicism vs. not being a complete asshat over the internet".
I am relaxed, just calling it like I see it.Relax man.
I'm not sure you understand the meaning of that gif.Xbox season is Bugs. I think we have our winner.

More new IPs are great. Just please don't be heavily Kinect focused. Minimal integration is fine but don't go overboard with it unless it's build from the ground up with Kinect in mind.
Why is the background on top of his hand? Was this an actual mistake in the movie?

I don't want any of them to involve Kinect and what are the chances they show them at E3 ?
All or most of them being Kinect games is quite possible.
They guy is one of the managers running the "Core" publishing initiative. Almost all the positions have already been filled (Some have been working there for two years signing deals). Most of their joblistings have this signature phrase:
There are some different projects floating around:
- New effort to create a franchise that blends the best elements of games and TV/film. Maybe related to their LA Studio, who is also kind of scouting for the same thing.
- The Core Games Publishing teams charter is to partner with the best developers in the world to create the next great core franchises for this generation and future generations of Xbox. Makes me think that they are not only looking at US or Canada based developers, but also Europe. Crytek's Ryse could also fit here.
- They are looking for a Senior Producer to drive the future of gaming through a hybrid of AAA core games and service-based experiences, technology, and business model.
- They are looking for a producer to work with Epic. Either could be the next Gears or new IP.
They were looking for Design Director with proven creative and leadership ability to work with external developers on Microsofts core titles, including shooters, RPGs, action/adventure, etc.
Well now we know what all those new studios Microsoft opened over the last few years have been doing. Destiny halo 2 anniversary and two new first party IPs at launch would probably make for a pretty strong launch. I would assume the other two new IPs will launch for next holiday because 4 new IPs at launch seems a little crazy.

Every Durango game will have Kinect functionality.
You need to be a little broader.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have 6-8+ years of experience in video games. 1-3+ years' experience in a leadership capacity is a huge plus.
- Extensive experience with 3D level design tools (UnrealEd, Kismet, Maya, Max, Hammer, Radiant or similar 3D editor).
- Extensive experience hands-on developing single-player levels and multiplayer levels for a first-person-shooter or third-person-game. Experience in preparing level sections with unique gameplay moments, puzzles or platforming a big plus!
- Driven to make fantastic levels with great flow and layout, to tell a story while guiding the player experience.
- Previous experience and interest with a gameplay Scripting language or high level programming language. Some artistic background, formal or otherwise, 2D or 3D, is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of the game development process
- Works well under deadlines and has strong verbal and written communication skills.

BigPark is also reportedly working on a AAA title at the moment (developers of Joy Ride). I assumed they were working on a crappy motion control-based game, but it's supposedly going to be a big new IP for Microsoft. I don't think we'll hear about it until next year, though. (If anyone's wondering, I heard this from a friend of someone who did a co-op work term there.)
good find. so we definitely know they have at least one first person and one third person shooter in development?
This was also posted in previous thread:
it says or.
Taking Microsoft's past 3 E3s or so into account I'm gonna say they're all gonna be shit. I don't think my faith in MS could get any lower. They're gonna have to work real hard to convince me to buy their next system. And I own like 50 games for their current one.
Gonna take some effort to build that bridge again.
It's like MS took GAF to the prom, then ditched them and started making out with someone else, thinking "Ehhhh...someone else'll give 'em a ride home."
everything is shaping up very nicely. now we need to hear about some of those ps4 launch titles.![]()
Kinect sports is great. The bowling alone is worth the price of the whole system. I love seeing the replays after the game. Also, since Kinect, how has Microsoft imploded as a gaming company? I know you said "to you" but what types of games did they not deliver on that you were hoping for? I had so many games to play, so many types, so many genres, I just don't have nearly the time to play them all. What is it that you are looking for that ms does not provide as a gaming company? Just curious because Sony and MS are identical to me as far as enjoyment (I play xbox more as I have a ton of xbla games). I own both systems and will own the next two.
Also, I see this new narrative on GAF that MS is losing the "core" gamer. Where the fuck did this start? Unless I'm dead wrong, isn't MS going into the "next generation" with strong sales of the 360, kinect, and xbl subscriptions? Was there some huge ms only dropoff that showed that "core" gamers were tired of ms?
Don't expect much. There hasn't been a Sony console yet with an amazing launch lineup, it takes at least a year to really get going. It wouldn't shock me at all if MS repeats the 360 and has a much better launch lineup.
