Its not very nice to accuse someone of using cracks when thats no the case.
There is a way to unlock it early on origin, just saying.

The lack of high res textures is baffling, but that's not worse than DS1/2 in that regard.

Thank God DS 4 is going to be powered by the Frostbite 2.

Next-gen surely will. Given that they will target 1920x1080 as a resolution the assets quality will undergo a significant overhaul.

apparently EA fixed this work around and cutscenes dont work but it was how some people got it running early.

They will surely come up with amazing results using Frostbite 2, whether or not they could do the same with their current technology I don't know.
I have no idea if their current engine is next-gen ready but what matters to me is the thought of a next-generation powered Dead Space, I assume that they will go with the Frostbite 2 in the manner of other EA owned studios.

It's nice to know I can look forward to playing this tonight when I get home instead of waiting until midnight. (In case anyone is wondering, this is a legit copy of the game, purchased from Greenman. Looks great on pc too, except for the lack of fov adjustment. )

considering they did nothing when thousands of people downloaded up to 30 games for free using an exploit a while back i doubt they would ban you for playing a purchased copy early.

You're way too paranoid man. I did it for BF3 without a hitch, and it looks like many people are getting it to work just fine.

You aren't cheating or stealing...just moving to New Zealand for an afternoon.

Conclusion
Dead Space 3 is not the fitting end to the trilogy gamers wanted from Visceral games but that does not mean it doesn’t hold its true form underneath. Dead Space 3 is bogged down by questionable design decisions and a wholly unnecessary Co-op mode which doesn’t add anything to the story except to aggravate the player. Despite its faults I can’t help but recommend this game if you are a Dead Space fan and while the Co-op mode does take away from its survival horror elements, there isn’t anything inherently broken with it, making a working if unneeded addition. Looking past these issues, there is an amazing game underneath which definitely deserves your attention and while not as good as its prequels, definitely lives up to the Dead Space name.

8 out of 10

I don't really understand the co-op comment. You don't HAVE to play it co-op, and as of now it feels like it really hasn't effected the single player in any huge way. Are there changes to some of the design due to co-op? Questionably perhaps. I think the way ammo works, the lack of save slots, and the fact that there is now a chapter select could be because they needed to find a balance for said co-op/single player. Though having played mostly single player, it still feels like the previous Dead Space games. This being the third game the wonder and unknown of the threats a bit less, and yes sometimes feeling very familiar, I also feel it brings enough to the table for another entry in the franchise.

Man you already spent most of this generation without a headphone. Save your money now and buy one compatible with the next gen consoles. You'll get much more bang for the buck that way.

Turn off Vsync ingame and use D3D overrider to force 60fps.

its not even about that. dead space 2 was heading this way and this is just the cherry on top of the cake. Story wise ill finish it of course, but gameplay wise am talking about.
