Well, yeah, I'm pretty sure we'll have to wait at least one season, but hey who knows.

Honestly, one of the little things I want to see from next season on is having the current part's name as a subtitle in the title screen. Pretty much just like with the manga reprints.

Because Japanese people often aren't that great at English? =p

"Crash" in particular seems to be one of those English words that get used in rather unnatural ways a lot in Japanese, possibly as a result of confusion with "crush" or even "clash" (which would be both pronounced the same in katakana). At least, that's the impression I get from things like "Crash Man" in Mega Man and the "Crash" ability in Kirby.

One suspects that "crush" was the intended word in this case, since "unable to be crushed" would make sense as a description of diamond, and would match up with the Japanese version of the Part 4 subtitle ("Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai", most literally "Diamond does not break/crumble").

When I was listening to the radio earlier today, "Owner of a Lonely Heart" came on. Despite being in a context where I should have recognized it as the Yes song first, my brain's immediate reaction to the opening riff was still "why are they playing Joseph Joestar's theme on the radio?"
 
I'm going to have to wait for the raw or sub to give my opinion on the episode because Keyhole streams look like shit :|

I am not sure if I'm ready for next week. Speaking of next week, the preview looked safe enough about spoilers this time, so there shouldn't be a problem watching it.


Also, I just wanted to say Stroheim looks hilarious in the ending to me.

Today's episode was kind of... alright. I won't bring myself to use "meh", but it wasn't as hype as the recent ones IMO.

I'd say this is more the case of it only being a spoiler if you're told it's a reference to a spoiler so I'd rather not have that mentioned >_>
 
Just got into JoJo last week, it's an awesome series.

Anyone know how many more episodes until Part 3 starts? I hear that's where the main story begins.

Once part 2 ends in a few weeks episodes I would assume. lol. Part 3 gets the ball rolling I guess but it leads off for the other parts to start up.

Next season. It's not that that's where the main story begins, it's more like that's THE Jojo part for a lot of people. To put it this way, pretend that Phantom Blood + Battle Tendency are Dragon Ball, and that Stardust Crusaders and onwards is Dragon Ball Z

Well, that's kindof what happens when you cut a lot of the story and only really focus on the most serious parts of it. They're awesome of course and actually have animation, yeah, but it's not really the same.

You totally should watch the abridged series at the very least though, it's really good and even better as a Jojo fan.

This is true. I made my brother watch it while he knew nothing about JoJo and that actually made him read the series.

I thought 90's OVA still have the JoJo charm.. especially the OHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT tension that started in part 3, its the 2000's OVA that really missing.. and dayum the animation man.
