I forgot that PS4 can stream to tablets. so you can actually do a zombie(O) and use your ipad/android tablet/phone.

lmao
I love it
and yes I would
the PS4 version of course

edit: if vita is mandatory.. then no.
I rather use my tablet or my phone

PS4 will offer remote with phones and tablets in addition to Vita, right? i'll be able to use an iPad instead of a low res tablet with dated input technology? Sign me up.

I would guess you would be able to use your tablet or smatphone as long as you download (read, pay probably 5 bucks) to download the app from google play or apple's app store. You would have to control it using your DS4 though and only interact with your tablet when necessary to go through your items and stuff. I doubt they would have virtual buttons on ipads or androids, AFAIK, the second screen option on tablets/smartphones is mainly to look and maybe small interactions.

I don't think I would buy this game though, I heard it was garbage.

EDIT: LOL I just noticed the Nintendo Network logo on the photoshopped pic.

Is this port begging or legitimate speculation based on yesterday's reveal?

help me decide, GAF

Given Rayman lost exclusivity and was delayed on WiiU in order to come out at the same time on the PS3 and 360 and this is a game from the same publisher, I think it's a fair speculation.

It'll make the experience a hundred times better l'm sure. Pinch to zoom was the one thing everbody wanted in Zombiu.

I thought ZombieU was already coming to 360 and PS3. Did I make that up?

Ubisoft made a comment about trying to adapt the game for other platforms, but that's as far as they've gotten.

The game as it is sorta needs to have a GamePad setup in order to function right from a gameplay perspective, which isn't something you'd be able to do without a Vita.

It's valid now more than ever, considering that Guillemot publicly voiced his displeasure at the Wii U's abysmal January NPD sales.

They'd just call it Zombi UK.

Apparently, GAF said it was originally planned as an Xbox 360 game.

The whole thing started as a Rabbids spinoff on the 360 that was starting to get a bit too violent for them to continue using the brand, so it became Killer Freaks from Outer Space. The team liked what the Wii U was doing, so they moved it over there. The Killer Freaks aspect wasn't working as well as they'd hope with what they wanted to do with the GamePad interoperability, so it evolved into the game we know today.

This turned out to be a lot more interesting than I expected it to be.

Usually, games that undergo so many messy changes in such a short timespan rarely pan out even decently, but I was pleased as punch to be shocked at how well ZombiU turned out in the end. Those guys over at Montpellier sure know how to make it work.
