PlayStation makes it so you can refund from transaction history

If you downloaded it, you cannot refund. And how do you find out its a glitchy mess, if you cannot even download it? Its a bit retarded refund policy, sorry. The only useful case would be if you accidentally bought a wrong game or something....but how often does this happen.
Yes exactly.

Did this just other day and was shocked at how easy, and fast, it was. Bought Battlefield 4 on sale, found out it needed an EA account to even play.. fuck that noise, so went on there, clicked the reason why I wanted a refund, and bam... Was already back in my bank account within the hour.

Be sure to turn off auto-downloads on your pre-orders if you have any doubts about wanting the final product.

They added the option for you to try and get a refund.

Good luck actually getting one from them.

I just see it as a way to cancel pre-orders, which was a pain in the ass to do via their chatbot/chat representatives.

I mean, it's the same with Xbox. Steam seems to be the only one that allows us to refund after 2 hours—has this changed? but it is pretty much a glorified DRM system (a good example of one so don't take this the wrong way). I bought a game on Xbox and played it hardly more than 15 minutes and my refund was denied (have posted about this in the past). Getting one/not getting one seems to be a dice roll.

Now, with everything being digital, all platform owners can't just allow us to buy a game, download it, and then ask for a refund after 14 days, given that some people can complete some games in that time frame. Game trials do exist for that reason, but unfortunately, this is also where publisher politics get involved, so it is not as standard as it should be.
