Has there been a trio of episodes in any show better then Negro Y Azul, Better Call Saul and 4 days out? They all aired one week after the other, it really is incredible.

Edit Season 2.

For me - season 4. ep 8 ,9, 10 and 11. You could add 12 as well and then well... then the awesome final.

The last few episodes of S4 are just insanely good. People went nuts about ep 9 (or 8), then Salud aired and people here went nuts about that as well but that was nothing compared to Crawl Space. The S4 thread just exploded right after that. Funny to read back if you are bored!

Really, I can't think of many episodes of anything that gave me that 'OH MY GOD' feeling that the last 15ish minutes of Crawl Space delivered. It was so good.

e) Oh man, you made me want to rewatch Better Call Saul. Such a funny episode.

This, the second half of season 4 is godlike. It was maddening having to wait a week after Crawl Space aired.

Season 5 episode 8 is the funniest, there are basically about 100 "OH MY GOD" posts within one minute when Hank finds the notebook.

I actually think Season 4, as a whole, is slightly overrated. The second half is absolutely amazing, but at the beginning it drags on and meanders waaay too much. "Open House" is probably the worst episode of the series. I find Season 5 the most focused and consistent one, bar maybe Season 1. It's clear Vince knows exactly what he wants to do, where the story's going and how to get there. It's laid out masterfully and it's slightly understated on the Internet. Maybe because we only have half the story and one plotline was ended abruptly and way too conviently (Mike's death), but it's really amazing, the work they did there.

People who didn't like the first half of Season 5 as much need to remember how much Seasons 3 and 4 significantly ramped up in quality in the second half. Same could honestly be said of the half of Season 5, where "Fifty-One" through "Gliding Over All" are just amazing. I mean, all the seasons are great, so I can't just pick one of my babies over another!

Also, another parody video: How Breaking Bad is going to end

Season 3 is still my favorite. Tuco's cousins, One Minute, Jesse dealing with Jane, going to rehab, and of course the very last episode and scene is still my favorite in the series. If felt wrong rooting for him to pull the trigger, but he had too. Poor guy (both of them).

Oh and I loved the line in season 5, "Just shut the fuck up and let me die in peace."

Just found this poem about Crystal Meth, it's awesome:

I destroy homes, I tear families apart,
I take your children and thats just the start.

I'm more costly then diamonds, more precious then gold,
The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold.

If you need me, remember I'm easily found,
I live all around you - in schools and in town.

I live with the rich, I live with the poor,
I live down the street and maybe next door.

I'm made in a lab, but not like you think,
I can be made under the kitchen sink.

In your child's closet and even in the woods,
If this scares you to death well it certainly should.

I have many names, but there's one you know best,
I'm sure you've heard of me, my name is Crystal Meth.

My power is awesome, try me you'll see,
But if you do, you may never break free.

Just try me once and I might let you go,
But try me twice and I'll own your soul.

When I possess you, you'll steal and you'll lie,
You do what you have to - just to get high.

The crimes you'll commit for my narcotic charms,
Will be worth the pleasure you'll feel in your arms.

You'll lie to your mother, you'll steal from your dad
When you see there tears, you should feel sad.

But you'll forget your morals and how you were raised,
I'll be your conscience, I'll teach you my ways.

I take kids from parents, and parents from kids
I turn people from God, and seperate friends.

I'll take everything from you, your looks and your pride,
I'll be with you always - right by your side.

You'll give up everything - your family, your home,
Your friends, your money, then you'll be alone.

I'll take and take, till you have nothing more to give,
When I'm finished with you, you'll be lucky to live.

If you try me be warned - this is no game,
If given the chance, I'll drive you insane.

I'll ravish your body, I'll control your mind,
I'll own you completely, your soul will be mine.

The nightmares I'll give you while lying in bed,
The voices you'll hear, from inside your head.

The sweats, the shakes, the visions you'll see,
I want you to know these are all gifts from me.

But then it's too late, and you'll know in your heart,
That you are mine and we shall not part.

You'll regret that you tried me, they always do,
But you came to me, not I to you.

You knew this would happen, many times you were told,
But you challenged my power, and chose to be bold.

You could of said no, and just walked away,
If you could live that day over, now what would you say?

I'll be your master, you will be my slave,
I'll even go with you, when you go to your grave.

Now that you have met me, what will you do?
Will you try me or not? It's all up to you.

I can bring more misery then words can tell
Come take my hand, let me lead you to hell.

how do you guys see breaking bad ageing? a few years down the line and s5 part 2 has aired, will it divide opinions like, say, lost? will it become relatively tame to shows that might come out?

or will it be the show to which all upcoming dramas will be compared to for excellence?

It'll be remembered as a good show. It's nowhere near as good and exceptional as people say it is imo. Pretty good, but nothing that special. It doesn't have as memorable and controversial stuff like Lost, so no I don't think it will be discussed much after a year or two.

I agree with TCRS. I am rewatching the show now and I'm in the middle of season 3. It surprised me that quite a few episodes were a drag where not a lot happened. It's a good show but not one the very best out there.

really? im rewatching it for the third time and its even better than i remember. :)

This is an absolutely insane opinion to have.

?

If anything, I think that's the majority opinion. It doesn't have a patch on S3 or S4 by any metric. And I even like the smaller S1 more.

The only thing I really loved about S2 was
Walt allowing Jesse's girlfriend to die because he saw her as a threat
. That shit was chillingly fucked up.

Lost has controversial or memorable stuff?

Breaking Bad is in a way different league. Better writing, better characters, better acting. I honestly doesn't know what Lost does better than BB.

I'm still in season 5 of Lost, but I'm not expecting miracles from here on.

The best of what Lost has to offer is already behind you.

pretty much used as a standard for excellence in any drama especially ones featuring a good guy turned bad guy, or any anit-hero.

- THR: 'Breaking Bad' Lands on Sundance Channel in Syndication Deal
Breaking Bad is heading to Sundance Channel.

AMC's sibling network has acquired the syndication rights to seasons one through four of the Bryan Cranston starrer. Sundance will kick off a marathon of the series, starting with the pilot, on Monday, March 4 at 11 p.m.

"Breaking Bad has become a benchmark for storytelling at its finest and we are proud to air this series as we embark on our own scripted programming with the upcoming debut of Rectify, which is produced by the same incredible team behind Breaking Bad,” Sundance Channel GM and exec vp Sarah Barnett said in a statement announcing the news Monday. "We are looking forward to giving viewers another opportunity to catch up with what has been called TV’s best drama."

Two hours of Breaking Bad will follow premiere episodes of Sundance's original scripted dramas The Staircase: Last Chance on March 4 and 11, Top of the Lake from March 18-April 15 and Rectify -- which hails from Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernsten, producers behind the Emmy-winning drama -- from April 22-May 27.

The Breaking Bad pickup for Sundance comes as a bit of a surprise considering the Netflix has become the go-to market for heavily serialized dark dramas, which don't typically repeat well.

It's also much less ambitious than Lost. Breaking Bad is a much tighter, better written and total package show, and Lost has tons of issues, but many of the issues are the result of the risks they took with Lost

S3 and S4 were so similar they might as well have been the same season.

S2 had Grilled, Down, Peekaboo, Better Call Saul, 4 Days Out and Phoenix. The show has never been as good, in my opinion

The season introduced Saul, Gus, Mike and Hector for christsakes.

what was messed up that his gut instinct / reflex was to get up and go save her. as he was about to attempt to save her, you could see him calculating.... that letting her die would be more beneficial to him. it was pure happenstance, he originally only went to get the product for the gus drop....

- Warming Glow: I Took The ‘Breaking Bad’ Tour Of Albuquerque And Got To Hang With Bryan Cranston Along The Way
I'll say this about Albuquerque, they sure love their Breaking Bad. Also, their meth, apparently, but mostly, their Breaking Bad, one of the many TV shows and movies that have been shot in the New Mexico city over the past few years -- largely due to drool-worthy tax incentives and scenic locations -- but the only one that we, myself and photographer Nadia Chaudhury, were willing to travel across the country for. After all, Girls already films in my city.

Breaking Bad aside, I've been wanting to visit Albuquerque for years, but never bothered reclining up from my blogger chair until last week, when we flew from New York to the Land of Heisenberg. We saw as many notable as-seen-on-Breaking-Bad locales as possible, and yes, we were obviously even lucky enough to have an encounter with Bryan Cranston, a.k.a. a guy with the initials "W.W." who isn't named Walt Whitman.

Come join us, won't you, on a journey through time, space, Albuquerque, and photos of bathrooms.

Rogers already confirmed they aren't dropping AMC, they're just playing stupid hardball probably and AMC is trying to scare customers.

But rogers better get AMC HD. Talk about being last to the fucking party.
