Utterly unbelievable and was not what I even signed up for for this half of the anime. Of course it just had to be one of my characters. I keep watching anime and reading stories and am at a loss why writers must insist on writing stories in such a way to be so painful and cruel to fans of key important characters. Why cant everyone you know always succeed and be victorious? Winning characters are the very foundation to good story telling and are key to making us feel good. I want to feel good and be left with good memories of it, not be filled with sorrow and consistently thinking of these for days, weeks, and months to come.

Ultimately, I wanted this instead of this. If only that one mistake wasn't made I would have finally got them to team up and such. I will never be able to forget this moment which is probably up there for the most memorable moments I can think of in anime for quite some time. He was so close even and went out in such an epic and flashy light show that made him all awesome. That onslaught of cool bubbles attacks made the entire anime just plain worth it and everything. Caesar honestly became one of my favorite parts of this anime and he was just so phenomenal even. Just that one mistake and when the narrator said it, I was like oh no, and started to tear up, and then when he weakly and feebly tried to attack back, and then when he screamed his precious Joseph's name as he went out dying and then Joseph screaming out his name too and neither responding back, it was just too much. If only he could have answered or got up some way, but then the stone fell and crushed him sealing it and then the moments of tears and tears. I don't think Ill be able to look at screencaps of the moment without tearing up. To me, Caesar will forever live on and grant me a good end (unless theres a revival ripple?).

The music used during both battle moments this episode was really really amazing and fitting. I think my favorite two tracks on the ost, assuming this one gets one as well.

I hope you get emotionally attached to the Ideon remake if it ever gets made. Or heck, just go watch the original Ideon.

Yeah. Even in Pokemon it's hard to find good fanart that doesn't turn Red or any of the cast into some shitty Death Note reject.

That's why I tend to reject fanart involving human characters :(

Also, I was really happy for the JJBA all stars ad in this episode... waiting for August or for an annoucement of an European version will be very painful.

But those are the best arts for the cast. I guess we must be opposites, usually avoid any nonhuman art for pokemon too lewd and inhuman. So glad people draw pokemon gijinka and rival/trainer shipping.

I love jojo fanart, it really does well in capturing my feelings of the cast and the spirit of the anime.

I wonder how much will DTL like post-Diamond is Unbreakable characters and artstyle... or have they been drawn in generic style as well?
 
Don't like lewd Pokémon fanarts or bulky Pokémon (sorry Doggie :p). There are tons and tons of genuinely awesome Pokémon fan arts featuring only the creatures though, that's what I like.

Jojo fanarts on the other hand... They have like nothing to do with Jojo. Where are my fabulous bulky dudes posing?
 
JoJo's not associated with bulky dudes anymore after part 3 though, like it or not its very DTL-ish since part 4 lol

Or in more acceptable word, its very flamboyant.

Araki *has* gone back and drawn some of the protagonists from parts 1-3 in a much less bulky style too, though, so the fans aren't the only guilty party here.

I think the later Jojo designs still look like adults though. I think there's still a pretty big difference between the more model-like design with its sense of masculinity and fabulousness still present and DTL's adolescent teen fantasies.

Araki still has a distinct style though, unlike the fanart turning the cast into yaoi baits. Despite looking effeminate they don't look generic. It evokes the "supermodel" designs found similarly with Bayonetta.
 
Now now, let's not bash fanartists too much for not having an artstyle that pleases you while drawing the characters they like.

IMO, Steel Ball Run after it became seinen is Araki at his best; there's something about Jojolion's style that makes it feel "inferior" but I'm not sure what it is. His new style is pretty good, but seriously, don't let him touch the part 1 characters I've yet to see it end well.

SBR was the second worst after part 1. It only beat part 1 because of the last few chapters, but before that it was a muddled mess. Jojolion really brings back the crazy that I was missing.

S tier

  • Stone Ocean

A Tier
  • Vento Aureo

  • Stardust Crusaders

Steel Ball Run is one of the best part with Diamond...


Jojolion is still a bit early but I loved Part 4 and Part 8 looks super promising.

More or less the same as mine, except I'd switch Jojolion with Vento Aureo, bump Diamond is Unbreakable to A tier, and swap SBR for Stardust.

I know it probably isn't when looked objectively, but it has my waifu FF so I have trouble arguing against that :T

I think you guys missed the part where I said inarguable. I only posted a series of facts, don't hate the messenger.

Also, Weather Report is my favorite character.

I think that an official community thread might die pretty fast after the anime, though. Then again there's a game coming so it might be OK...
