What a completely toothless Barca preformance. Enough to make me doubt the teams desire to beat Milan when they can't even get be bothered to try score a 2nd against Madrid.

FUCK YOU BARCELONA BAHAHAHAHAHAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUHUEHUE

*goes back 15 pages to read through the mockery and salt*

Sinclair = A nothing. He's honestly looked good in the 50 minutes or so he's played but Mancini doesn't GAF and won't play him
Rodwell = huge flop but like Kagawa, had a stormer in his most recent game
Maicon = Played well outside the first game in the UCL but has been injured almost the entire season.

The main difference though is the expectation upon arrival. None of those guys were expected to be anywhere near as important as Kagawa was meant to be for United.
Damn Rodwell had a hattrick last game? Must have missed that.

Oh Maicon been hurt? Kinda like Kagawa when he began his stint at United...

And just to make my view clear, I think Barcelona are in a crisis.

Regardless of a penalty that should've been given they've been bad for the past 10 games.

Vilanova getting cancer treatment for about that duration - coincidence? No. We need a manager.

And fuck, really hurting from that soft goal by Swansea as well. Pain on two screens, this afternoon.

Edit: and Valdes acting like a kid shows there is no authority anywhere. Managers are there for a reason.

Well in every season you need a little luck and Swansea were a bit lucky today. Newcastle edged the game especially in the second half although their defending was poor throughtout. Swansea meanwhile went to sleep for large parts of the game. Newcastle passed well and moved well but in the end a scrambled goal was all that separated us from them. Not pretty stuff but a wins a win.

7th now, what a fucking great season you're having!

one man team
terrible defense
shit, mechanical hootball play
kagawa is a huge flop

:)

Utd played on another level from how they've played all season tonight. It was very atypical of how they usually play, and the most "United-esque" player out there (Valencia) simply looked like he didn't fit into this style. Rooney, Kagawa and Carrick ran the show, and it was the best performance they've had all season, IMO.

I'm quite sure this is the type of football Ferguson wants the team to play, but for whatever reason it didn't click at the start of the season so he went back to 4-4-2.

Quite scary, really.

So? It was still a strong team. No Puyol, No Xavi, No Tello, No COACH, no Abidal. Barca B confirmed? *sigh*

Oh please, no Puoyol and Xavi. That's it. Tello? Give me a fucking break, no Coach? When Pepe left Tito had no problems, no Abidal? Wtf lololol

Madrid was playing with Essien at RB, Kaka at MO, Modric at CM, Pepe at DM, Callejon at RW, Morata at CF.....

You really were playing the B team.

looooooool

Where's Arnie ?

Fuck Norwich, anyway. Fuck Grant Holt. The womble that ate all the other wombles.

Guess it's time I dumped Mignolet. Sunderland are giving up goals galore to teams they should be beating. :( On the plus side, the terrible run from him and Stoke/Begovic means Joe will almost assuredly win the Golden Glove for a third year running and be in the Best XI.

Tito is not Pep.

Tito being awasy is hurting Barca more than anything. There is no rhyme or reason to anything they are doing. Roura has no control.

Yep; in fact I think today and the QPR game last week have seen our two best performances of the season in terms of maturity, play, the importance of the games, the fact there's been a number of players rotated and all performing... absolutely delighted with how today went.

Like I say, I'm pessimistic and I think we'll probably draw 2-2 and go out on Tuesday, but that will give us a great amount of confidence.

Norwich > Barca

Lol don't be silly. Kagawa was playing as the most forward player once RVP came off. Rodwell is the furthest back midfielder for City. Rodwell put on a good performance last weekend. I think Meier's comment is fair.

Most of the players in the first half barely played this season together. No Puyol but I'll say that Mascherano is in better form right now, I'll give you Xavi though, but is still the best team of the world aginst the real madrid bench.

It was a very pathetic show from Barça, Madrid didn't have nothing in stake, Barça were the ones that needed to show some pride and that they'll be able to recover. And they played horrible.

"Shinji Kagawa is the first player from Asia to score a Premier League hat-trick."

Was immense today. Play him against Madrid while his confidence is high.

looooooool

Did he do his 'barge a defender over one minute, crumple like a sack of shite from nothing a minute later' trick?

This match has Lolerpool written all over it

@confuziz, how do you explain Barca's recent form if managers don't matter?

Lol they didn't try, and weren't bothered enough to try ahahaha

They tried, but they are out of ideas these days. They need a new approach, they have become predictable.

Yep it's been a bit special. Ten years ago swansea were a running joke in the city. Everyone took the piss out of them. Now look at us. I think the swansea story gives hope to a lot of small teams that if you start to get finances and personnel sorted out then you can acheive some great things.

Valdes got sent off? looooooool

Barca's recent transfers have been dogshit. If they had bought a proper defender and keeper they wouldn't be in this mess. It still blows my mind that we bought Vertonghen and Lloris for less than £30m total yet nobody else seemed to be interested.

Don't be silly, Slizz. You're better than that. Rodwell had a MOTM performance after a shit season like Kagawa did today, that's all.

Maicon cost 3m and was a nothing signing. He's just been there as depth and has played well in his limited time (he was key in the game we beat Spurs actually). His signing is not in any way comparable to Kagawa's in any level (expectation, cost, anticipation, etc.).

They blew most of the budget on Cesc to bring him 'home'.

And on Sanchez, because why not?

That's big. Fuck United, but I'm very happy for Shinji. He's such a classy player, it drove me crazy to hear United fans constantly berate him over the past few months.

I still don't understand the Song purchase. Anyone could have told Barcelona that was a bad deal.

Lol I know, but saying Kagawa is a massive flop is like saying City is a massive club.

Crazy how the random Maicon signing helped so much with all the injury troubles at the back City have had.

5 goals in 12 games, I think. For a playmaker who has been hit by injuries.

Only Jamie Redknapp-tier goobers call that a flop.

Tito is not Pep.

It's not Roura man.

These guys know what they are doing, nothing has changed, their game is the same. It's not like Roura broke the system, the system is the same.

Teams are just getting used to this Barcelona, it's normal. Spain won 3 national titles in a row playing exactly like Barcelona. They didn't have Pep, or Tito, or even Messi.

They disrupted everything with this "new" style, but it's no longer new. It will become less and less effective with time.

UGHHH gonna watch Carrick and Kagasm

Yeah, they've sorted it out massively at board level. Delighted for you.
