Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
After the finale whistle. :lol

Stupid twat. Barca have lost it the last two seasons, even Guardiola and his wacky 343 was total batshit. Their player recruitment has been awful and they are now seeing what happens when you rely on old players like Xavi and Puyol rather than buying players actually good enough to improve the team. Sanchez, Song and Fabregas have been massive flops and made the team worse. Valdes should have been thrown out years ago.

I still say the Eto'o Barca was the best.

@2010MisterChip: Hay 90 clasicos d diferencia en experiencia entre el 11 titular del Barça (175) y el del Madrid (85). La 5ª mayor diferencia de la historia.

There's a difference of 90 clásicos played between Barça's starting XI (175) and Madrid's (85). That's the 5th biggest difference of all time.

It's not Roura man.

These guys know what they are doing, nothing has changed, their game is the same. It's not like Roura broke the system, the system is the same.

Teams are just getting used to this Barcelona, it's normal. Spain won 3 national titles in a row playing exactly like Barcelona. They didn't have Pep, or Tito, or even Messi.

They disrupted everything with this "new" style, but it's no longer new. It will become less and less effective with time.

Oh so Tito being away and Barca sucking all of sudden after a great season is just a coincidence. Thanks for letting us know.

It will be hard to defeat United, I think the best 2 teams in the world (As of the past 2 weeks) are going to clash.

Magnificient match.

Lol I know, but saying Kagawa is a massive flop is like saying City is a massive club..
:lol perfect

Meier deals in hyperbole at times. Kagawa hasn't been as good as we hoped but "massive flop" is a bit far. Torres is a massive flop. Kagawa still has time to pull it back and hopefully that started today.

You better hope Suarez pulls off some magic tonight, bruh. You're down for the count, atm.
:(

Luckily I have some good points coming off my bench to help ease the pain.

Luis Suarez hat trick plzzzz.

You don't think Tito being missing is having any effect?

It's not the only reason though. It'll affect them, fair enough. But the whole point Barcelona get lauded so much is their philosophy from top to bottom at the club. It's not as if Roura is a radical who has got them playing United style hoofball.

5 goals in 12 games, I think. For a playmaker who has been hit by injuries.

Only Jamie Redknapp-tier goobers call that a flop.

LOL, you can't include the goals TODAY in your stat Salazar when discussing his performance up until this point. You're better than that too.

His stat line was 2 goals (and 4 assists) in 16 performances (11 in the EPL) before today. He has had a poor season -- that was undeniable.

Don't worry, give it some time to sink in.

No I don't. Tito was an Assistant Manager man, give me a fucking break. Once Pep was out, players took over.

Also they lost against Milan and Madrid, they haven't turned shit all of a sudden. They have just joined the rest of the other top teams and are no longer this dominant force that was incredibly hard to figure out. That's it.

Man Utd 1-0 Norwich
Borussia Dortmund boss Juergen Klopp said on Football Focus earlier that we would start to see just how good Shinji Kagawa is in the next few months. The Japanese playmaker has been everywhere today, drifting into the centre from his station out on the left.

Klopp knows what's up.

I'm impervious to Rodwell, Wright, Sinclair and Maicon taunts - because I acknowledge we had a shit window and we failed to land our targets.

But...If Rodwell can keep fit and consistently achieve a performance level akin to the game against Chelsea I see no reason as to why he can't become a big part of the City team. But he must keep fit.

I'm excited for summer and I'm excited to see who Txiki can bring in. It's gon' be gud.

Song hasn't even been given a chance how has he made the team worse? And Fabregas is not the problem, it's how Barca are playing him that's the problem.

The thing is even Wilshere would be able to bully Chelseas midfield.

I still don't understand the Song purchase. Anyone could have told Barcelona that was a bad deal.

Their deals haven't made a lick of sense

Fabregas - Skillset does not suit Barca at all, only bought him for some misplaced sense of pride
Song - He's a 'DM', he's tall and he can pass. Who gives a shit if he can defend. Oh, and we can shove him into centreback lol
Sanchez - Skillset couldn't be less suited to Barca. Only bought to prove that they had money to spend and to prove that they could draw players in demand

Its just wierd. I look at Borini and Allen, and I can see why we bought them, even though they haven't really succeeded. I look at Kagawa and think, yeah, if they can fit him into the team with Van Persie and Rooney's movement ahead of him, that will probably work out in the end. I look at Sinclair and think 'what a bunch of fucking idiots, on both sides of the deal'

But its impossible to justufy Barca's transfer dealings. Even Chrygynsky was bought for a solid reason.

So if Fabregas doesn't fit into the team, isn't he the problem? Or rather, that Barcelona bought a player who doesn't fit into their system.

i'm 99% sure that roura's just an assistent who analyses opponents; he's not really a coach or manager or anything.

Seeing how the Barcelona players circling the ref shows that they need a manager who will tell them to back the fuck off and yeah, Messi is playing bad by his standards.

Still oh my Swagawa. I doubted you today for a bit but nevermore. <3

Yep, this is true. City signed a future Best XI CB in the league (maybe a current) and 4 guys that have done nothing (Wright wasn't ever expected to) but Rodwell has a chance to be a valuable transfer. I think Sinclair will be sold and that's a shame because he deserved a chance.. Mancini just won't give him one. I bet Nick Powell has played more.

It's going to be an interesting summer, that's for sure.

Kagawa's had a better season than Rodwell so far imo. With his introduction into the team, it's signalled a change in the way we play. It's going to take a while to adapt to the league and the team to adapt to him. There's been a massive improvement from the start of the season. Carrick and Rooney tend to look for him more now, even when he's marked. They never did at the start of the season, usually just playing it out wide. Numerous times he found himself between the midfields and defences line and it helped Carrick, who had more space around him.

Cesc started out fine (great even) and has gotten progressively worse for Barca. Even when played in the right position.

Song is so awful that they dare not play him. Having terrible squad players damages the team because the good players get worn out (see Xavi). Sure Fabregas himself is not the problem but once again, the insistence that he be played around the existing stars and not in their place is what neuters him and the team.

Once Barcelona have the balls to admit that the Xavi-Puyol-Valdes spine is past it's sell by date, and buy some real quality, they will crush everybody again.

i'm 99% sure that roura's just an assistent who analyses opponents; he's not really a coach or manager or anything.

If everyone is fully fit (obv Vidic won't be), the team I'd play on Tuesday:

DDG; Raf, Rio, Evans, Evra; Carrick, Jones, Clev; Kagawa, Rooney, RVP

Would have liked to fit Nani or Welbeck in but I think considering the game Kag's just had you can't really. If Jones isn't fit then one of the two aforementioned.

Off tthe top of my head... thats similar to stats David Silva had in his first season.

I don't think the absence of Tito is the problem. I think the absence of Pep is the problem.

Plus, Barcelona being on cruise control in the league is probably a bad thing, because they're not sharp enough for the big games anymore. When you're used to winning all the time, it can be hard to bounce back from defeats. Same thing happened last season for Barcelona, just much later in the season when they collapsed against Chelsea and Real Madrid. La Liga being a two team league is bad for Barcelona (and Madrid) in the long run, even if it guarantees that they keep winning every league title.

I think what made me most excited about Jack's game was the air dominance. It's something that City just doesn't have.. at all. Even a guy like Javi Garcia who is great on corners doesn't have the same kind of aerial command as Jack displayed on Sunday. If he can stay fit, they'd make a nice pairing going forward.

It's hard not to be. Literally everyone here goes for Madrid and there's what? 2 Barca fans here. It's tough when you're outnumbered 20 to 1.
I can't believe you actually think that. I'm sure most of the people laughing at Barcelona today were equally trolling of Madrid when Bayern knocked them out of CHampions league last year.
