This. The fact that I had to wait so long to get my account approved and so easy I could get banned, it was a rush posting as a junior and is a rush now.

I find the modding too harsh most of the time TBH.

I like it because there's a discussion group for everything I'm interested in, which is something I don't really get with anyone I know. I can't really talk about games with many people or specific TV shows but here there is a lot of people on everything.

My favorite thing about Gaf is that I can't hear or see someone use the phrase "That's incredible!" without screaming in my head "Hill Street Blues!" and you, good sir, just gave me another chance to do just that.

I like how it is usually a day or two ahead of news stories. And with so many people all over the world, you can often hear first hand accounts of what's going on. Adds to the sense of a great community/family.

And there is a group of people for just about any interest, the threads are easy to follow and the nonsense is kept to a minimum.

Not to mention the occasional Photoshop thread that leaves me in tears.

This place is great and it has everything I could want with the exception of porn.
